Peugeot has announced that the new Peugeot E-308, the latest addition to its all-electric model range, is now available for orders starting from £40,050 OTR MRRP.
The new E-308 is Peugeot’s first all-electric C-segment vehicle. It is powered by a new electric powertrain with a 115kW (156hp) electric motor and a 54kWh battery, offering a range of up to 257 miles (WLTP). The inclusion of a heat pump as standard enhances efficiency and comfort while driving.
Drivers can choose from three driving modes – Eco, Normal, and Sport. Additionally, a “Brake” mode allows drivers to maximize energy recovery by regenerating power when they release the accelerator pedal. With a three-phase 11 kW charger on board, a full charge can be completed in 07h 20min from a 7.4kW home wallbox or 05h 46min from a 22kW accelerated public charger. Rapid charging at 100kW can achieve a 20-80% charge in just 28 minutes.
The new E-308 boasts a distinctive Peugeot design. The front features the brand emblem positioned in the center of a large vertical grille, accompanied by fang-shaped daytime running lights framing the LED headlights. The car’s rear showcases Peugeot’s signature three-claw light design, with the ‘E’ badge denoting its all-electric status. The E-308 also comes with a newly developed 18-inch ‘Ottawa’ diamond cut alloy wheel for improved aerodynamics.
Inside the car, the new E-308 benefits from the latest generation Peugeot i-Cockpit®. It includes a compact steering wheel, a fully customizable digital instrument panel (with a 3D Quartz display on GT variants), and a 10-inch central touchscreen with i-Connect Advanced infotainment and customizable i-Toggles. The Peugeot i-Cockpit® is renowned for its superior interior ergonomics, design, and technology.
The interior design of the new E-308 prioritizes driver controls for improved ergonomics. It also offers optimized space and comfort, with 34 liters of storage capacity and two smartphone slots. Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel are standard, while massaging front seats are available as an option. Rear passengers benefit from two USB-C sockets, phone storage, and cupholders (depending on the trim level).
The new E-308 features a dedicated screen within the infotainment system that allows drivers to monitor the electric powertrain’s performance. It displays information such as energy flow from the battery to the electric motor and energy recovery during regenerative braking. Drivers can also access information and statistics on energy consumption, check the battery status, and program a delayed charge.
Drivers can take advantage of the MyPeugeot application, which offers services specifically designed for the new Peugeot E-308. These services include viewing the battery charge status, remote charging initiation, scheduling charging sessions, and programming the pre-conditioning system.
