Porsche 911 GT3 RS Spotted with New Manthey Kit and Giant Wing on Nurburgring

It’s no secret that Manthey Racing is working on a new package for the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. We recently saw a prototype being tested at the Nurburgring earlier this month, and now a different test car has made its appearance on the famous track. This car looks incredibly aggressive and seems unstoppable as it attacks the corners of the ‘Ring.

Let’s talk about that massive wing at the back first. Compared to the standard 911 GT3 RS, this spoiler looks wider and sits a little higher above the roofline. The video at the top of this page shows that the wing is active, meaning it rotates depending on whether the car is accelerating or decelerating. Another new aerodynamic feature is a fin on the roof, along with several other smaller air deflectors. These are all elements that are not found on the regular 911 GT3 RS.

Elon Musk’s Ambitious Plan to Transform Twitter into an All-In-One App

Elon Musk has been open about his plans to expand Twitter’s capabilities beyond being a social media platform. He envisions turning the company into an “everything app,” similar to popular super apps like China’s WeChat. These super apps serve as a one-stop-shop for various functions on your phone, including messaging, calling, appointments, games, and ordering food.

In August, it was reported that Twitter, now called X, was exploring the addition of a stock trading hub. This move aligns with Musk’s banking ambitions, which he started discussing shortly after acquiring Twitter. In November 2022, Musk reportedly met with Twitter employees to discuss his idea of implementing payment features, such as debit cards, instant money transfers, and even loans, according to The Verge.

Musk’s plans have attracted mixed reactions. Some people express concerns about trusting X and its owner with their financial information, while others point out the challenges of introducing a WeChat-like service in the U.S. and Europe due to existing laws and regulations.

This Android Feature Could Save Your Life In An Emergency

A quick caveat before we get into how to set this up: There is no secret code that grants paramedics and emergency room staff access to whatever medical information you store on your phone using this feature. Anyone who knows about this feature can find that information if they have access to your phone. Basically, you need to consider whatever you enter just as visible as it would be if you were wearing it on a bracelet, or had a card with the information in your wallet. You need to take it as seriously as the other Android privacy settings.

Also: If you have Android 12 or lower, then you need to grab the Personal Safety app from the Google Play Store before you can go forward. With that out of the way, here’s how you add your emergency medical information:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Scroll down to Safety & Emergency and tap that option.
  3. Depending on what kind of Android phone you have, there will be an option named Medical Info or Open Personal Safety or words to that effect. Tap that option.
  4. Fill out whichever fields you want emergency personnel to be able to find out about from checking your phone.
  5. Tap Save.

That’s it. For someone to access that emergency medical info, it’s even simpler:

  1. Tap the power button to wake the phone.
  2. Swipe up on the lock screen.
  3. Tap Emergency > View Emergency Info.

If you’re comfortable with using this option and have a medical condition that your doctors would need to know about in an emergency, then it’s well worth exploring.

2025 Ram 1500 Facelift Drops Camo, Spied Inside And Out In Big Horn Trim

It’s common knowledge that Ram is working on updating their pickup truck. The front and rear of the truck will undergo some changes. Recently, spy shots taken in Colorado give us a glimpse inside the vehicle as well. The photos show multiple prototypes of what appears to be Ram 1500 trucks in Big Horn trim. This trim level is lower than the previous Rebel sighting and the spy shots of the new range-topping trim called Tungsten. The front of the truck is still heavily camouflaged, but we can make out the outline of a redesigned bumper. The lower grille in the bumper looks like it may be slightly bigger. The headlights also appear to be redesigned and possibly slightly smaller.

Ram 1500 Facelift Spied In Rebel Trim, Could Have Twin-Turbo I6 Under Hood

The full-size pickup truck segment is highly competitive in the North American automotive market. Despite being a few years old, the current-generation Ram 1500 is soon to receive a mid-cycle refresh. Spy photos of the updated styling have recently surfaced.

Unlike Ford, who has revealed their 2024 F-150 without camouflage, Ram has kept their trucks under heavy covers. The prototype in the spy photos bears a resemblance to the first sighting of the Ram facelift in July. Both are black with black wheels, but this time it appears to be a new Rebel trim. The black mirrors, lack of chrome around the windows, and distinct ride height and white letter tires indicate its off-road focus.

MV Agusta Offers Four-Year Warranty on 2023 Models

MV Agusta’s partnership with Pierer Mobility, the parent company of KTM, GasGas, and Husqvarna, has had a significant impact on the brand. Pierer’s involvement has led to expanded dealership support and market presence for MV Agusta. As part of these developments, MV Agusta has announced a new four-year factory warranty policy.

In the past, MV Agusta has not been known for its reliability. However, the brand is determined to change this perception. Most of the models in their portfolio have proven to be reliable during test rides, with few issues reported. MV Agusta’s new warranty policy is a step towards further improving quality and customer satisfaction.

MV Agusta Turismo Veloce RC SCS

The new four-year warranty program has been introduced after six months of collaboration between MV Agusta and Pierer. It was also launched in conjunction with the opening of the 100th dealership under their partnership. MV Agusta has set a goal of establishing 180 dealerships before the end of 2023, and they are on track to achieve this target.

The four-year warranty is applicable to all 2023 model-year bikes and newer. Owners of MV Agusta motorcycles purchased prior to 2023 will still be covered under the existing warranty program. The extended warranty period, along with the new policy of providing 24/7 roadside assistance, is aimed at addressing any reliability concerns potential buyers may have.

It is worth mentioning that the four-year warranty program is currently confirmed for key European markets such as Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Spain, and the UK. MV Agusta plans to expand this warranty coverage to other countries in the near future. For more information on MV Agusta’s new warranty coverage and its range of models, interested individuals are encouraged to contact their local dealers or visit the official MV Agusta website.

2024 Ford F-150 Spotted with Two-Tone Paint and New Grille for Heritage Edition

The refreshed Ford F-150 is set to debut in September, and there have been no shortage of spy photos capturing the truck in action. The most recent images give us a closer look at the 2024 F-150 Heritage Edition.

These photos reveal the Heritage Edition’s vintage-inspired two-tone paint job, which adds a touch of nostalgia to the truck’s appearance. The front end showcases a distinctive grille with three thick horizontal bars, complemented by thinner vertical bars behind it. Additionally, the truck sports the updated headlights that are shared across the revamped F-150 lineup.

2024 RAM Rampage Vs. 2023 Ford Maverick

Trucks have always been popular in the American market, but with rising vehicle and fuel prices, more buyers are looking for smaller and more fuel-efficient options. Enter the compact truck, a crossover with a truck bed that offers the practicality of a truck in a more economical and maneuverable package. Ford’s Maverick has been the most famous compact truck so far, but Ram has recently introduced the Rampage for the South American market, and there are rumors of it coming to the U.S. market.

Ram Rebel Vs. Ford Maverick: Trims

The Ram Rebel trim is the starting point for the model, offering a turbo diesel engine, a nine-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, and several safety features. It also comes with a 12.3-inch infotainment system and 17-inch wheels as standard. On the other hand, Ford’s equivalent XL trim has steel wheels, automatic LED headlights, a wifi hotspot, and a smaller infotainment system. The base model of the Maverick is more basic compared to the Rampage.

The Ram offers more premium options with the Laramie trim, which includes leather seats, a chrome exterior finish, and 18-inch diamond-cut wheels. The Maverick’s XLT trim, on the other hand, features 17-inch aluminum wheels and body-colored bumpers. The top-of-the-line Ram Rampage R/T is focused on sportiness, with leather and suede seats, a sport suspension, dual exhaust, and 19-inch gloss black wheels. The Maverick’s most luxurious trim is the Lariat, which offers leather seats, ambient lighting, keyless entry, 18-inch wheels, dual-zone climate control, and a leather steering wheel.

These Upgrades Include

  • One inch of suspension lift
  • Rear locker
  • Bedside graphics
  • Smoked headlights and taillights
  • Orange accents
  • Dark-painted 17-inch wheels.

Which Compact Pickup Has The Better Interior?

The Ram’s interior is more premium with better materials and an upscale design. All trim levels come with a big 12.3-inch infotainment system and a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Every Rampage model also has dual-zone climate control and an optional 10-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. On the other hand, the Ford Maverick has a more budget-friendly interior with cheaper materials like hard plastics and a smaller eight-inch touch screen. However, it still offers unique textures and colors, useful storage pockets, storage under the second row, and an off-road trim level called Tremor. The Maverick also has an optional eight-speaker sound system with a subwoofer.

Which Small Truck Looks Better

The aesthetic preference is subjective, but the Maverick sticks to Ford’s design language and resembles their larger trucks, giving it a cohesive look within the brand’s truck lineup. It may look more basic, but it still fits in as a light-duty truck. The Rampage, on the other hand, has a more aggressive look but retains the unmistakable Ram design. It comes down to personal opinion on which one looks better, but the Rampage appears sportier while the Maverick has a more rugged look.

The Ford Has The Edge In Performance

The Ram Rebel and Laramie come standard with a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine that offers 170 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. While it excels in efficiency and low-end torque for towing, its performance isn’t exceptional. The Rampage also offers an optional 2.0-liter hurricane turbo engine with 272 horsepower and 292 pound-feet of torque, resulting in a faster 0-60 time of 6.9 seconds. However, this engine’s fuel economy is not great at 19 MPG city and 23 MPG highway.

The base Maverick comes with a 2.5-liter hybrid engine paired with a CVT transmission, producing a combined output of 191 horsepower and 155 pound-feet of torque. It boasts impressive fuel economy at 42 MPG city and 32 MPG highway, with a 0-60 time of 7.6 seconds. The Maverick’s optional 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine offers 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. It has a faster 0-60 time of 6.5 seconds but slightly lower fuel economy at 23 MPG city and 30 MPG highway.

Can The Rampage Match The Ford?

While not confirmed for the U.S. market yet, the Rampage has the potential to compete with the Maverick and offer a more luxurious option. The Ram brand has managed to fill a segment within the compact truck niche that hasn’t been fully explored. If the Rampage comes to the U.S., there might be slight differences in powertrain options, and an off-road-oriented trim level would be a welcomed addition. This would provide further competition to the Maverick Tremor and appeal to consumers who enjoy exploring off-road terrain.

City Document Reveals E3 2024 And 2025 Have Already Been Canceled

In recent years, independent showcases by platform leaders and standalone events from big-name studios have overshadowed E3, stealing its thunder. Furthermore, Geoff Keighley’s Summer Games Fest show now dominates the June slot that was once reserved for E3 announcements.

Opinions on E3 differ. In a podcast interview with VGC earlier this month, Keighley said, “I think E3 sort of killed itself in a way.” The absence of Microsoft and Sony, the platform overlords, from E3 has reduced the incentive for the event. Additionally, the recent rivalries and conflicts over multi-billion acquisitions have driven the competitors further apart.

It is possible that Xbox and PlayStation may never share the E3 stage again, especially given the tension between Microsoft and Sony over the Activision Blizzard fiasco. In June, Microsoft hosted its Xbox Games showcase event, followed by a dedicated show for a Starfield deep-dive. On July 11, the company will host the next ID@Xbox Showcase to reveal trailers and gameplay details of new titles. Sony and Nintendo also held their own events in June, and Keighley had his own gaming event during the same window. This does not mean that E3 is doomed, but the opportunity for E3 to regain its former glory is diminishing.
