Alfa Romeo Minivan Not Ruled Out By Design Boss

The concept of a luxurious minivan may seem unconventional, but it is gaining popularity in China where brands like Buick and Lexus have already introduced their own models. Volvo and Toyota are also planning to enter the high-end MPV segment. Alfa Romeo, with the financial support of its parent company Stellantis, is now looking to expand its customer base.

In an interview with Autocar magazine, Alfa Romeo design chief Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos hinted at the possibility of a minivan for the brand. Referring to the Autotutto concept shown in the image above, he said, “It was beautiful. By the way, you wouldn’t be surprised if this returned one day. It might be just a tease, but it’s also not such a crazy idea.” Although it seems that a minivan is being considered, it has not yet received final approval for production.
