RIDING THE 2024 GASGAS MX & OFF-ROAD BIKES: THE WRAP

GasGas introduced its new lineup for 2024 in a unique way. Instead of hosting a private event for the press, the company opened its doors to the public. They organized the GasGas Spice It Up Festival at Crossodroma La Trogna in Castello, Italy. This event was different from anything seen in the U.S., with technical seminars, bike displays, music, food, and the opportunity for the public to interact with GasGas factory riders like Justin Barcia and Taddy Blazusiak. People had the chance to ride any of the 2024 models they signed up for. The event was free but quickly reached capacity.

The off-road four-strokes include the green-sticker eligible EW500F and the non-certified EC450F. The two-stroke off-road bikes consist of the EC300 trail bike, EX300 cross country, and EX250 models. Additionally, GasGas offers two dual-sport bikes: the ES500S and ES350s.

GasGas models have several equipment differences compared to KTM models. All GasGas bikes come with Braktec hydraulic systems for the brakes and clutches. LARRY WARD AND THE NOLEEN SIZZLER

The new generation of GasGas enduro bikes are designed to provide an easy and enjoyable riding experience. Whether riding in the woods, on trails, or tackling extreme sections, these bikes deliver top-notch enduro performance. The new bodywork not only improves the bikes’ appearance but also provides larger and smoother contact areas, allowing riders to grip the bike tightly on challenging terrain. GasGas has expanded the Enduro line with the addition of the EC 450F and EC 500F models. These big-bore bikes are perfect for open and flowy trails and come equipped with top-level components such as Braktec brakes, WP suspension, and enduro-specific PANKL transmissions. All GasGas enduro bikes are equipped with a rear suspension linkage, ensuring smooth handling over rough terrain. With the new lighter and more powerful motors, the outgoing agile and stable handling of the previous generation is amplified.

GASGAS reveals its 2024 Motocross Models

GASGAS recently unveiled its 2023.5 models at the beginning of the SX season, featuring Justin Barcia Red Bull/TLD Factory Racing graphics. Now, just like their Austrian counterparts, the rest of the motocross models have been updated to the new platform. GASGAS has provided us with the following information and images. GASGAS aims to deliver the best performance for motocross riders, whether they ride for fun or compete to win. In 2024, GASGAS is taking the moto scene to the next level. Their lineup includes the beloved MC 125 two-stroke and the MXGP race-winning MC 450F four-stroke, ensuring there’s a bike to suit all types of riders.

GASGAS motocross models are known for their exceptional handling, but the engineers didn’t stop there. They made improvements to make the bikes perform even better. Each model now features new steel frames, new aluminum subframes, and new swingarms. This combination enhances cornering precision and straight-line stability for maximum fun. The MC 125 and MC 250 two-strokes have also been updated with electric start buttons, replacing the traditional kickstart.
