New Honda Forza 750 Colors Are Incoming for 2024

The Honda Forza 750 touring scooter will receive new colors for the 2024 model year. While the final price has yet to be announced, it seems that 2024 will be a vibrant year for this model in Honda’s lineup.

In 2022, the Forza 750 received a minor update, and now Honda is introducing new colors for the largest Forza in their lineup. The new color options include Matte Jeans Blue Metallic, Candy Chromosphere Red, and a “special edition” Matte Black Metallic with gold wheels. These colors join the existing Iridium Gray Metallic in Honda’s color lineup.

No changes have been made to the scooter’s mechanics. It will still be powered by a 745cc parallel-twin engine paired with a dual-clutch transmission (DCT). The Forza produces up to 58.6 horsepower and about 50 foot-pounds of torque. It also comes standard with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), or traction control. The scooter shares the same internals as the Honda X-ADV 750, which also received a new color announcement for 2024.

The Iridium Gray Metallic color option remains mostly unchanged, with a slight update to the graphite shade for previously black-colored parts.

The 2024 Forza will retain the same chassis as its previous editions and will be joined by its more adventurous sibling. It features a tubular steel frame, inverted fork, and rear mono-shock with the Honda Pro-Link system. The scooter will also come equipped with the same brakes, technology, and other features found in previous model years of the Forza.

As of now, Honda has not released the official price for the 2024 Forza. However, it is expected to launch around the same time as the updated 2024 X-ADV, which is slated for autumn or the third quarter of 2024.

Rendering Reveals Potential Look of BMW M5 Touring Sporty Wagon

The official teaser campaign has begun for the upcoming BMW M5 Touring. While the initial image only provides a glimpse of the high-performance wagon covered in a sheet, the team at Kolesa has attempted to uncover what the production version might look like.

The M5 Touring shares its front end design with the sedan, featuring an aggressive fascia with prominent inlets on the outer edges. In the center, there is a trapezoidal section divided into segments by vertical bars. The grille is broad, although not as large as in other BMW models like the latest 4 Series. The hood has a dip in the center.

In terms of styling, the rendering of the M5 Touring matches the sedan up to the A-pillar. The rendered M5 boasts wheels with a complex design of split spokes, finished in black and with red calipers visible behind them.

From the rear, one can clearly see the wide fenders of the M5 Touring. The roof spoiler features two raised sections, and underneath the hatchback, there is a prominent diffuser with dual exhaust pipes on each side.

According to reports, both the M5 sedan and Touring wagon will feature a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine paired with an electric motor for additional assistance. In the BMW XM Label Red, this powertrain setup produces an impressive 738 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque, although official figures for these cars are not yet available.

While there are no pictures of the new M5’s interior at this time, it is likely to resemble the regular 5 Series. The standard model of the 5 Series features a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment screen. The performance-focused M5 might have additional upgrades such as seats with thicker side bolsters and sporty trim, possibly including carbon-fiber elements.

BMW has confirmed that the M5 Touring is being developed and tested on public roads in Munich, Germany, at the M GmbH headquarters in Garching, as well as at the Nürburgring racetrack. The wagon is expected to go on sale in 2024.

This will be the third generation of the M5 Touring, following the introduction of the first model in 1992 and the V10-powered variant in 2007.

The new M5 Touring is set to debut around the same time as rival models from its German competitors. Audi has a refreshed RS6 Avant with wider front fenders on the way, and there is confirmation of a new E63 wagon from Mercedes-AMG, although only spy shots of the E53 variant have been revealed so far.

The Best Touring Bonneville Bobber? Thornton Hundred Shows You How

In a rather interesting video, Thornton Hundred Motorcycles showcases a touring setup on one of its bikes, a Triumph Bonneville Bobber, as it embarks on a 3,000-mile road trip. This is a departure from their usual projects, as they are known for creating the fastest Triumph Bonneville Bobber last year, using it for drag racing, and even taking it on a hill climb at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. After selling it for a hefty sum of about $50,000 USD, they have now focused on building a touring version of the Bobber.

The build includes various upgrades such as luggage, a rack, a tank upgrade, and an exhaust system that may seem unconventional for touring. The bike undergoes a complete teardown and clean install of wheels, straps, fork boots, and protection parts. Thornton Hundred opts for Kriega dry packs for their luggage needs, specifically the US-5, US-20, and US-40 models. Additionally, lights are added to enhance visibility during the road trip.

The standout feature of this build is the Rotobox carbon fiber wheels, a mod carried over from previous Thornton Hundred projects. After a long building session, the final result is visually impressive and functional, offering ample storage space, upgraded lighting, and a unique style. The lighter wheels also contribute to improved performance.

Thornton Hundred Motorcycles has yet to provide further updates on this build, but a more detailed review is expected in the future. Overall, this touring setup demonstrates the brand’s ability to create something distinctive and functional, suitable for everyday use.

BMW i5 Touring Wagon Spotted Without Camouflage, Revealing Front-End Design

The BMW 5 Series Touring wagon is on its way, and the automaker has already given us a glimpse of the M5 version. Spy shots have also shown the electric i5 being tested. The most recent photos reveal the uncovered front of the long-roofed EV, although the back is still concealed.

It’s not surprising that there is no camouflage on the front, as the automaker had previously shown us the 5 Series and i5 sedan earlier this year, and both models share the same front-end styling. However, they do have different grilles, which might be an attempt by BMW to hide certain details, such as the M badges on the front fenders. Nice try.

BMW M5 Touring to Make a Comeback in 2024 as a 700bhp-Plus Hybrid

The BMW M5 Touring will be making a return in 2024, after being absent from the lineup since the discontinuation of the E60-generation model in 2010.

BMW has confirmed that the new M5 will be available as both a saloon and estate model, and will feature a hybrid powertrain, as previously reported by Autocar.

The hybrid powertrain is expected to combine BMW’s 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged S63 V8 engine with a rear-mounted electric motor. Sources close to BMW claim that the combined power and torque outputs of the two units will be around 790bhp and 737lb ft.

Early prototypes of the new M5 were said to use a lithium-ion battery similar to the 12.0kWh unit found in the outgoing BMW 545e. It is still uncertain whether this battery will be used in the production versions of the next M5, as BMW M is rumored to be developing its own performance battery with ultra-rapid discharge properties.

The larger batteries found in the upcoming 530e and 550e PHEVs suggest that the new M5 may also receive a more capacious battery pack.

2024 BMW M5 Touring side detail

“We are now also installing a hybrid drive system with typical M performance in other high-performance cars,” said BMW M development head Dirk Häcker.

The power from the hybrid powertrain will be delivered through an eight-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox, and the M5 will feature a rear-biased xDrive four-wheel drive system.

The next generation of the M5 will also have a heavily reworked chassis, with notable features such as a wider front and rear track.

The introduction of the new BMW i5 won’t bring an all-electric M5, but the M division has made modifications to the electric saloon. The i5 M60, while not as focused on performance as the M5, can still accelerate from 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds, thanks to its dual-motor powertrain that produces a combined output of 593bhp and 605lb ft.

BMW M5 Touring Teaser Shows Off Upcoming, High-Performance Wagon

The next-generation BMW M5 will include a Touring wagon variant, and a recently released teaser provides a glimpse of its silhouette. The long-roof model is set to be released in 2024.

BMW has promised that the M5 Touring will offer “uncompromising long-distance comfort and impressive spaciousness.” The company has also confirmed that the vehicle will utilize a partially electrified drivetrain. This particular setup is believed to be related to the one found in the BMW XM, which includes a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine, an electric motor, and a 29.5-kilowatt-hour battery. While the Label Red version of the SUV generates 735 horsepower and 735 pound-feet of torque, the power output for the M5 family remains unknown at this time.

BTCC 2023: Hill and Turkington make history with BMW domination

In a remarkable display of dominance, West Surrey Racing swept all the races at Oulton Park in the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) on Sunday. Jake Hill and Colin Turkington led BMW to victory, leaving their competitors trailing behind.

Hill had an almost perfect day individually, securing two wins, a second place, and three fastest laps for Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport.

Turkington’s performance was equally impressive. Starting last on the grid in the first race, the four-time champion made stunning progress and continued to excel in the second race. In the final race, he charged ahead to claim his 65th BTCC career win.

Ash Sutton, Tom Ingram, and Adam Morgan also achieved podium finishes, creating a significant shift in the title race halfway through the season. Sutton’s lead in the drivers’ standings has narrowed to just six points ahead of Ingram, while Hill and Turkington remain in close contention.

The second half of the BTCC campaign will resume at Croft in North Yorkshire on July 29-30.

Hill establishes BMW dominance with a win in race one

Hill kickstarted his 2023 campaign with an impressive victory in the first race.

Throughout the season, the Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport racer consistently showcased his talent, earning three second-place finishes. However, this win elevated his title challenge to new heights.

Hill made a fantastic start, overtaking pole-sitter Sutton in his BMW 330e M Sport on the run down to turn one. He successfully defended his position in the opening laps and gradually pulled away from championship leader Sutton in his Napa Racing UK Ford Focus ST.

Ingram of Bristol Street Motors with Excelr8 secured the final podium spot after a strong performance, coming through from sixth on the grid.

Hill secures a double win at Oulton Park

Hill continued his incredible form by claiming his first-ever BTCC double, winning the second race from start to finish.

Despite facing an early safety car period, Hill maintained his lead throughout the race and pulled away to secure another victory ahead of Sutton.

The battle for the final podium position intensified as Ingram successfully held off a late charge from Turkington, who showcased his exceptional skills once again by making significant progress.

BMW Tuner Boosts M3 Touring to 641 Horsepower and Gives it a Bold Blue Paint Job

Manhart, a German tuner, has taken the BMW M3 Touring and transformed it into a powerful wagon that now generates 641 horsepower and 590 pound-feet (800 Newton-meters) of torque. This is a significant upgrade over the original stock output of 503 hp and 479 lb-ft.

The increase in power is mainly achieved through the implementation of Manhart’s MHtronik control unit. Additionally, the exhaust system has been completely revamped, with Manhart opting for Remus components and incorporating HJS sport downpipes.
