In the world of super sports cars, the MANSORY P9LM EVO 900 stands out as a game-changer. This unique conversion of the Porsche 911 Turbo S Coupé (soon available as a convertible) is a limited edition with only 10 units. It combines exclusivity with high-performance engineering in an iconic package.

MANSORY, known for their expertise in automotive refinement, has taken the Porsche 911 Turbo S and created the P9LM EVO 900. With an impressive power increase to 900hp and 774 lb/ft of torque, this vehicle can reach a top speed of 211 mph and accelerate from 0-60 in under 2.5 seconds.

The conversion goes beyond power enhancements; it includes a complete redesign with a full carbon bonnet and Forged Carbon add-on parts. The bodywork comes in two versions, with an optional two-tone special paint finish. The introduction of new forged wheels in 21 and 22 inches further enhances the vehicle’s appeal.

The “P9LM EVO 900” features a striking front design with enlarged air intakes in the carbon front apron. It also has a new 3-pipe exhaust system and a redesigned diffuser for improved airflow. The rear apron and large retractable rear spoiler contribute to increased downforce on the rear axle.

MANSORY has ingeniously enhanced the performance of the P9LM EVO 900. Changes to the 3.8-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder boxer engine include larger VTG turbochargers, a water-cooled intercooler, a high-performance exhaust system, a sports air filter, and a reprogramming of the engine control unit (ECU).

The vehicle’s superior performance is further supported by the 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, standard four-wheel drive, newly developed MANSORY suspension components, and “FV.5C” rims fitted with high-performance sports tires.

The interior of the “P9LM EVO 900” has also been completely redesigned with high-quality leather upholstery and carbon applications. The steering wheel features a carbon and leather combination, with a carbon ring displaying a shift light and digital display for speed and engine revs. Customers can customize the color, pattern, decorative stitching, and carbon applications according to their preference.

In a world of high-performance vehicles, the limited edition MANSORY P9LM EVO 900 offers unmatched luxury and speed, solidifying its status as a true sports car icon. It takes the Porsche 911 Turbo S to new levels of performance and aesthetics.

Spotted: 2024 KTM 990 Duke Prototype Winds Down A Sunny Mountain Road

In the 2020s, KTM is rumored to be developing a new 990 Duke, which would be a successor to the KTM 990 Super Duke that was last seen in their lineup 10 years ago. The speculation about a new 990 Duke gained strength in January 2023 when engine drawings from China suggested that the cylinder of the LC8c engine was elongated, indicating significant changes. Now, the existence of the 990 Duke prototype has been further confirmed by spy photos taken during testing. The photos show a partially undisguised prototype, with the rider wearing a matching set of leathers and helmet.

The test mule featured in the photos has a black-and-white color scheme, with hints of KTM’s signature orange on the front fork and the piping around the soft panniers attached to the tail. The rider’s helmet, boots, and race suit also have orange accents. However, the right side of the bike is not visible in these shots, only the front, left side, and rear. The test bike has black alloy wheels with a different spoke pattern compared to the 2023 890 Duke R. The mirrors appear to be similar between the test bike and the 890 Duke.

One noticeable difference between the test bike and the 890 Duke R is the front headlight and cowling design. The 990 Duke prototype features a smaller, angular lattice surrounding a smaller headlight, which gives the impression of brightness despite its size. The swingarm of the test bike also appears to be revised compared to the existing 890 Duke R.

Although the 990 Duke’s styling stays true to Kiska’s signature sharp and angular design language for KTM, it offers a unique take on naked styling. It is expected that the official debut of the completed KTM 990 Duke will take place towards the end of 2023 as a 2024 model. However, it is unclear if the unveiling will happen at EICMA 2023 in November or at a different event. Regardless, motorcycle enthusiasts will be keeping a close watch for updates on this highly anticipated model.

Is Royal Enfield Working On A 750cc Bobber Design For 2025?

In November 2022, Royal Enfield unveiled the Super Meteor 650 at EICMA, building on the success of its 650 Twins. Now, in July 2023, there are rumors that Royal Enfield is working on a 750cc bobber, expected to be released in 2025. The project, codenamed R2G, is said to include multiple bikes on the same platform. It remains unclear whether the 750cc engine will be an expansion of the existing 650cc engine or an entirely different one.

In the past, Royal Enfield has been associated with rumors of a 750cc engine. In 2017, there were speculations about a 750cc engine that would compete with Triumph Bonneville and Harley-Davidson Street 750. However, those rumors eventually led to the development of the 650 Twins. While rumors should be taken with a grain of salt, Royal Enfield has a track record of turning rumors into reality, such as the launch of the Hunter 350 and the release of teasers for the Himalayan 450.

Given Royal Enfield’s history, it’s possible that development of a 750cc bobber is already underway. However, with limited information available in 2023, it’s challenging to accurately predict what to expect in 2025. Until more concrete details emerge, it’s best to consider this rumor as intriguing but unconfirmed. As further updates become available, we will keep you informed.

Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio 2023 first drive

The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio super saloon has received positive reviews since its launch in 2016. It was a much-awaited performance car from the Italian brand that could compete with the best in its class. The car’s rear-driven handling, compactness on the road, and powerful Ferrari-derived V6 engine were widely recognized.

Alfa Romeo has taken a unique approach in the performance car market by making the car simpler to make it better. The Quadrifoglio version receives the same updates as the regular Giulia, including new headlights, a new radiator grille, new digital instruments, and an updated infotainment system. Additionally, the engine power has been increased to 514bhp, and the suspension and driveline have been recalibrated to give the car a ‘mini-GTA feel’ according to Alfa performance engineering lead Domenico Bagnasco.

The ‘100 Anniversario’ version of the car celebrates the centenary of Alfa’s green cloverleaf iconography and features gold-edged badging and detailing. Only 100 units will be produced for the global market, and all are already sold in the UK.

To address the previous issues with on-track performance and handling, Alfa has made significant changes to the car’s mechanical specifications. The electronically controlled ‘eDiff’ has been replaced with a more conventional mechanical limited-slip differential. Other changes include increased anti-roll bar stiffness on both axles and firmer calibration of the electronic dampers at their firmest setting. These changes improve the rear axle’s response and consistency in limit handling with the ESC switched off.

The Giulia still maintains its appealing low driving position, well-designed cockpit and controls, and a sense of agility on the road. Despite the ‘mini-GTA’ billing, the car doesn’t feel overly aggressive. The ride and damper calibration are comfortable in the ‘natural’ driving mode, the steering is light but direct, and the engine and gearbox are generally smooth in normal traffic.

Tokyo, 9 June 2023 – Automobili Lamborghini Japan held the Lamborghini Revuelto Japan premiere on Tuesday, 6 June at Ariake Arena. In celebration of the brand’s 60th anniversary, Lamborghini revealed its first V12 super sports hybrid plug-in HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) in front of more than 500 guests in Japan. The event took place at Ariake Arena, which was one of the venues for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games and is set to become Tokyo’s new sports and cultural center. It also features a double-clutch transmission (DCT), marking the first time this technology is introduced in a 12-cylinder Lamborghini. This electrified model, making its global debut in the brand’s 60th anniversary year, brings impact, excitement, and innovation to Lamborghini owners and enthusiasts.

Alongside the introduction of the first V12 HPEV model, Automobili Lamborghini pays homage to its iconic V12 heritage by displaying past V12 engine models such as the 400 GT, Miura, Countach, Diablo, Murciélago, and Aventador.

Guests at the event had the opportunity to explore the extensive customization options of the Revuelto in the dedicated Ad Personam area. They could touch and feel various materials to personalize their new vehicles with exterior and interior color and trim options, as well as special finishes that reflect their individual preferences.

Another highlight of the venue was the design corner, which replicated Mitja Borkert’s studio. Here, guests could witness live sketching and get a glimpse of the creative process that led to the design of the new car.

Mitja Borkert, Head of Design, said, “Lamborghini Revuelto showcases an entirely new style while still staying true to the design DNA. We have ensured that the design is instantly recognizable as a next-generation V12 model, which continues to captivate fans to this day. Carrying the legacy of Lamborghini’s legendary V12 while representing a new era of design, the Revuelto opens doors to Lamborghini’s future.”

Matteo Ortenzi, Revuelto Product Line Director, commented, “Revuelto takes Lamborghini emotions to a new dimension. CHINA PREMIERE FOR ROLLS-ROYCE SPECTRE

Designed and engineered to be a Rolls-Royce first, and an electric car second, Spectre marks the beginning of a new era for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. To celebrate its China premiere, Spectre is presented at Auto Shanghai 2023 for the very first time in a two-tone Morganite with Gunmetal exterior finish, creating an exceptionally elegant aesthetic. Morganite, a colour between mauve and dark rosé, was inspired by the rare Morganite gemstone and is a new addition to the Rolls-Royce Bespoke portfolio.

Combining elegance and innovation, Spectre delights in an imposing yet effortlessly refined appearance. Creating an extraordinary sense of strength, Spectre has the widest-ever grille produced by Rolls-Royce, with a proud angle and polished stainless-steel finish. The car presents with stunning proportions, revelling in its long front bonnet and graceful silhouette with a beautiful falling fastback roofline; Spectre’s presence is further underlined by the magnificent 23-inch wheels

The excellence of the uncompromising exterior design is continued within, where Spectre’s interior sanctuary offers unrivalled luxury. Auto Shanghai marks the premiere for Spectre’s exquisite Canadel doors: the interior panel is crafted from a single sheet of wood, precisely placed at an exact 55-degree angle to evoke a sense of motion within the car. Sumptuous Grace White leather upholstery is highlighted by bold Ardent Red secondary details, creating a visually stunning hand-crafted masterpiece. The joyous interior is further enhanced by delicate Peony Pink accents on the RR monograms, contrast piping and stitching on the instrument panel. Open Pore Tudor Oak veneer panels gracefully merge into the fascia surfaces, while warmth is added to the exquisite interior design through the veneered steering wheel spokes, for an ultimate lavish touch.

To ensure the famous Rolls-Royce ‘magic carpet ride’, Spectre has undergone the most challenging testing programme ever undertaken by the marque. It was on the Côte d’Azur that Spectre’s digitally integrated evolution of the renowned Planar suspension system was finalised. Planar suspension is an orchestra of systems with precisely defined responses to driver inputs and road conditions, made possible by the latest software and hardware developments. Rolls-Royce’s hallmark experience of silence within the car is supported by the clever mounting of the battery, which enables Spectre’s perfectly smooth underfloor profile. This not only creates a low seating position and enveloping cabin but realises a secondary function for the battery – almost 700kg of sound deadening.

EXQUISITE BESPOKE MODELS SHOWCASE ROLLS-ROYCE CRAFTSMANSHIP

Alongside Spectre’s captivating stage presence are other specially created Bespoke models, showcasing Rolls-Royce’s world-leading expertise in handcraftsmanship and luxury excellence.

Bespoke Phantom Extended
Rolls-Royce Phantom occupies an unrivalled position at the very apex of the luxury world. Presented here in extended version and designed especially for the Shanghai Auto Show, this magnificent motor car is finished in a deep Submariner Blue with the bonnet, roof and rear pillar rendered in contrasting Silver.  Phantom Extended’s stunning exterior is further dramatised with a hand-painted single coachline and the Spirit of Ecstasy presented in stunning Rose Gold.

The exterior theme continues inside, with the front seats in Submariner Blue leather, accented with Rose Gold contrast stitching and ‘RR’ headrest monograms, and blue Piano Milori Sapphire Veneer throughout the cabin.  Phantom Extended’s generous rear suite is rendered in Cashmere Grey with Rose Gold speaker grilles and a Bespoke Starlight Headliner that emits an atmospheric blue glow.

The unique embroidered artwork in the Gallery features an extraordinary 47,943 individual stitches and takes around six hours to handcraft. It represents an abstract interpretation of a floral theme in a precise geometric pattern.

Bespoke Black Badge Cullinan
Another exceptional model is the super-luxury SUV Black Badge Cullinan, which takes the stage in Shanghai finished in a satin Iced Burnout Grey hue, reinforcing the truth that a Black Badge motor car need not be black. In this highly Bespoke commission, the Black Badge aesthetic has been extended to the smallest details: brake callipers, bumper inserts, side trims, Spirit of Ecstasy and 22” Part-Polished Black Badge Wheels are all finished in black.

Inside, the bold splash of Peony Pink over Scivaro Grey applied throughout the cabin, including the Bespoke steering wheel, provides a daring contrast to the more understated exterior. Textured Scivaro Grey boxgrain on the fascia and Technical Carbon veneers on interior surfaces provide additional depth. Each leaf of Technical Carbon is finished with six coats of lacquer before being left to cure for 72 hours and then hand-polished to Rolls-Royce’s hallmark mirror finish – a meticulous process that takes 21 days to complete.

The boundary-pushing Black Badge attitude is further exemplified by the Bespoke Starlight Headliner which features 1,344 fibre-optic ‘stars’ emitting a pink hue, given a playful extra dimension by the inclusion of ‘shooting stars’.

Bespoke Ghost
A stunning Bespoke Rolls-Royce Ghost completes the lineup of beautiful and unique Rolls-Royce motor cars. Gracing the Shanghai Auto Show in a Bespoke two-tone finish that showcases the limitless Bespoke potential of its pure, minimalist design, the main body is in rich, dark Olivin, with Diamond Black contrast above, accentuated with a single hand-painted coachline in Seashell. The matching tyre pinstripe mimics the white-banded tyres beloved by the marque’s patrons in its early days, reflecting a heritage dating back more than 100 years.

Ghost’s interior features a Bespoke colour split, with the front seats in Black Leather and the rear in Seashell, with contrast stitch and piping in Iceland Moss providing a visual connection to the exterior finish. The colour split is also carried over to the Bespoke two-tone steering wheel, which features Black outer and Seashell inner leather trims. Veneers in Stained Black Ash complete the motor car’s timeless, understated aesthetic.

THE BOUNDLESS CREATIVITY OF ROLLS-ROYCE
Beyond the display of these magnificent models, the Rolls-Royce stand offers a range of immersive experiences designed to captivate and fascinate. The Bespoke Atelier will provide guests with a unique opportunity to explore the countless personalisation alternatives that create the Rolls-Royce experience. Meanwhile, the MUSE Rolls-Royce Art Programme has a dedicated space to highlight the brand’s support for and interest in contemporary arts, showcasing the remarkable works of the three winning artists from the recent Spirit of Ecstasy Challenge. These artistic endeavours demonstrate the brand’s commitment to fostering creativity and inspiring greatness, while connecting patrons and the public to the thriving art world.
