The company currently offers four different automatic transmission systems to cater to the diverse needs of its wide range of customers.

Innovative Technology And Customer Insights

In 2014, Maruti Suzuki introduced the Auto Gear Shift (AGS) technology, commonly known as AMT (automated manual transmission). This technology was quickly embraced by customers due to its ease of use and affordability. Currently, 65 percent of automatic vehicles sold by Maruti, from the Alto to the Fronx, are equipped with the AGS technology. We aim to make automatic transmission technology accessible to everyone by offering multiple options, and we are humbled by the positive response from our customers. Our automatic car sales have been consistently increasing, and we expect to reach the one lakh automatic vehicle sales mark for FY23-24.”

2024 Nissan Murano Gets Trim Changes and Higher Prices

The third-generation Nissan Murano, which was introduced in April 2014, is one of the oldest vehicles currently available in the United States. In terms of updates, there aren’t many changes for the 2024 model year. The Murano SL now comes standard with a panoramic roof. Depending on the chosen specification, the SUV can be equipped with features such as 20-inch wheels, leather-appointed seats with diamond-quilted inserts, wood-look trim, ambient LED cabin lighting, and a premium Bose audio system with 11 speakers. The 2024 Murano also retains the LED headlights and taillights, dual-zone automatic climate control, and NissanConnect infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity from the previous model year. Additionally, the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite of safety and assist features is standard across all trim levels.

Under the hood, the 2024 Murano is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine with variable valve timing technology, delivering a maximum output of 260 horsepower. The power can be sent to the front wheels or all four wheels, depending on the chosen specification.

New Mercedes AMG GT: A Flagship Sports Car

Both cars are built on the Modular Sport Architecture platform, which combines lightweight materials like aluminum, steel, magnesium, and plastic composites. The new GT will be even more rigid than the SL, thanks to additional stiffening measures and a fixed roof.

While official details are still scarce, the new GT is expected to have similar dimensions to the latest SL, with a length of around 4705mm, making it longer than its predecessor by 159mm.
