In their typical Japanese fashion, the MT-10 focuses on the essentials. It comes with a set of 43 mm USD forks and monoshock, along with a diamond chassis. On the other hand, the European Super Duke takes things up a notch with its sturdier 48 mm forks, top-notch Brembo Stylema calipers, and a fancy single-sided swingarm. Leading up to EICMA 2023, CFMoto has been quite busy. While previous assumptions were made about the teasers released, leaked photos and a teaser video from CFMoto France suggest something different.

It appears that leaked promotional photos of CFMoto’s MTX Concept have been circulating on social media. When comparing these photos to the official teasers, it’s clear that the MTX Concept and the 450 MT will be two distinct models, as the MTX features a single rotor instead of dual disc brakes.

Some rumors suggest that the MTX Concept will be powered by Yamaha’s CP2 engine, given CFMoto’s manufacturing agreement with Yamaha. Alternatively, the 800 MT could serve as the base for the concept, utilizing KTM’s 799cc LC8C engine.

If CFMoto opts for the Yamaha engine, the 450 MT would have a 270-degree parallel twin engine with around 62 horsepower and 42.5 pound-feet of torque. If they choose the KTM powerplant, it would generate 95 horsepower and 64.1 pound-feet of torque.
