KTM Welcomes Chase Sexton, the Newest Supercross Star, to its Motorsports Headquarters

KTM’s motorsports headquarters in Austria recently hosted Chase Sexton, the reigning 450 Supercross Champion. On his visit, Sexton was given a tour of KTM’s racing HQ in Munderfing.

During his visit, Sexton not only got to see the ins and outs of the motorsports HQ but also met the technical team and staff responsible for creating the KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION. This bike will be used by Sexton in the upcoming 2024 AMA 450SX racing series, the AMA Pro Motocross 450 Class championship, and the SuperMotocross contest, which combines both indoor and outdoor disciplines.

As one of the bright stars in the racing scene in the United States, Sexton is now part of the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team. His impressive performance in the 2023 Super Cross season earned him the championship title. Before his packed schedule begins, Sexton had the opportunity to fully experience the KTM culture in Austria by touring the 9,500 square-meter (about 102,257 square-foot) motorsport building of Red Bull KTM.

The motorsports HQ is where KTM builds, stores, and prepares all their Motocross, Enduro, Rally, and MotoGP bikes for their racers. Sexton joins a roster of almost 70 riders and will have access to the brand’s fleet of support vehicles and accompanying equipment.

In addition to viewing the historical displays and FIM world titles earned by Red Bull KTM over the years, Sexton also had the chance to test the KTM X-BOW GT-XR with Hubert Trunkenpolz, Member of the Board. CHASE SEXTON SIGNS WITH RED BULL KTM FACTORY RACE TEAM

Chase Sexton, the current 450SX Champion, has joined the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team for the upcoming 2024 SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) season.

Sexton has made a multi-year commitment to KTM, competing in the AMA Supercross Championship, AMA Pro Motocross Championship, and the prestigious SMX Finals Series. He will also sport the number four, a new single-digit career number, as he enters this phase of his professional career.

Before diving into his partnership with KTM, Sexton, who was raised in Illinois, will defend his 450SX title. He is already focused on preparing for the upcoming season at the highest level.

Sexton secured his first premier class Supercross Championship in May of this year with six Main Event victories. He also finished fourth in the final 450MX standings, despite missing several rounds in the first half of the outdoor season.

In the inaugural SMX post-season, he finished third overall, winning the hybrid-style Charlotte event and proving himself as a strong contender in each discipline.

2024 Honda CRF Models Return, Along With CB300R Naked Street Bike

Honda Racing Corporation factory team riders Chase Sexton, Hunter Lawrence, and Jett Lawrence swept the AMA Supercross championships, and now American Honda has officially announced the return of its 2024 CRF lineup. The Performance and Trail arms of the CRF family are coming back, along with the 2024 CB300R street bike.

The 2024 CRF Performance family consists of nine models, while the CRF Trail family includes four bikes. The CB300R stands alone as a street bike. Let’s start with the 2024 CRF450 lineup, which includes specific motocross bikes for different purposes.

The 2024 Honda CRF450 lineup is powered by a 449.8cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke single-cylinder engine. It features a Unicam overhead cam design with four valves. The intake valves are titanium and measure 38mm, while the exhaust valves are made of steel and measure 31mm.

The 2024 Honda CRF450R, the bike that dominated the 2023 AMA Supercross series, comes with a 44mm throttle body and Showa suspension. The 2024 Honda CRF450RWE (Works Edition) offers numerous upgrades, including a Yoshimura exhaust, D.I.D. DirtStar LT-X wheels, Twin Air air filter, Hinson clutch basket and cover, Renthal Kevlar grips, and more.

For those who prefer greater value, more off-road capability, or a street-legal version, Honda offers the 2024 CRF450R-S, CRF450RX, CRF450X, and CRF450RL, respectively.

On the trail side, riders can choose from the 2024 CRF250R, CRF250RX, CRF250F, CRF125F, CRF110F, and CRF50F. The CRF110F and CRF50F also come in white and bright color options.

The 2024 CB300R is the only street bike in the lineup, with other returning street models expected to be announced soon.
