Toyota Supra Scale Model Made From PVC Is Fast, Furious, And Amazing

Polyvinyl chloride – also known as polyvinyl or PVC – is a widely used synthetic polymer plastic. It is commonly used in various applications such as plumbing, electrical cable insulation, flooring, signage, phonograph records, and even inflatable products. However, an extraordinary creation using PVC has emerged – a scale model of a Toyota Supra.

A 17-minute video, uploaded by the Ank Creative YouTube channel, showcases the building process of an intricately detailed fourth-generation Supra made entirely from PVC. This model is not just a mere drawing on a PVC board; it is a three-dimensional replica that accurately replicates the exterior panels of the actual car.

The construction process begins by cutting the basic shapes of the Japanese sports coupe and then proceeds to refine and polish the surfaces. The most challenging part involves creating and installing the small details, such as headlights, grilles, and exterior trim. Once the exterior is complete, attention is turned to the fully equipped cabin, complete with a dashboard, center console, and seats.

Once the entire build is molded and assembled, the Supra Mk4 receives an eye-catching orange exterior with green and black decals inspired by the Fast and Furious movie franchise. The scale car features rotating wheels and functioning doors that can be opened. The level of detail achieved is remarkable, especially considering that this model did not start as a computer drawing and was not produced by a 3D printer.

Lamborghini Urus To Become Hybrid-Only Starting 2024

Lamborghini is planning to introduce a plug-in hybrid version of the Urus SUV in 2024, replacing the current models. This news comes as a surprise, as it was previously expected that the hybrid variant would be offered alongside the traditional versions. CEO Stephan Winkelmann revealed to Autocar that the hybridized Urus will become the sole offering by late 2024. The Urus Performante was unveiled in August 2022, followed by the Urus S in September.

The hybrid Urus will be available until the end of the decade, at which point Lamborghini will launch a second-generation, electric-only model. This move towards electrification is in line with the brand’s commitment to meet stringent emissions regulations. The upcoming plug-in hybrid SUV will be Lamborghini’s second PHEV, following the Revuelto, and will be followed by a third PHEV next year with the introduction of the Huracan replacement.

Our spy photographers were able to get a close look at a prototype, which showcased its unique “H” daytime running lights that also function as turn signals. Italian brand Beta is well-known for its off-road models and success in the world of enduro and motocross. In the European market, Beta has launched the RX 300, a model specifically designed for competitive motocross. While the RX 300 has been available in the U.S. market since 2021, the European version comes with updated features that cater to the motocross segment. Let’s take a look at some of the key details.

When it comes to technology, the RX 300 is equipped with a 300cc, two-stroke, single-cylinder engine that incorporates several performance-oriented enhancements. As for the underpinnings, the Beta RX 300 shares a frame similar to that of the RR 300 enduro model. It rides on 21-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels equipped with Michelin Starcross 6 tires. Nissin brakes, with a 260-millimeter front and 240-millimeter rear, bring the bike to a stop. In terms of electronics, Beta has minimized the RX 300’s features to ensure simple operation. The electric starter switch is positioned on the right side of the handlebar, while the ignition kill switch is located on the left side. Additionally, the bike is equipped with a lithium battery to reduce weight.

Finally, the Beta RX 300 features restyled graphics in classic Beta colors. Although European pricing has yet to be announced, the availability of the bike is expected before the end of June 2023.

G-Heat Introduces EV05-GRE Cooling Vest

G-Heat, a French company known for its heated clothing, has expanded its range to include “refreshing clothes” designed for hot days. The company’s latest addition is the EV05-GRE cooling vest, which shows promise despite not being specifically targeted at riders.

The EV05-GRE is a sleeveless garment made from a blend of polyester and Polycool polymer fiber. It resembles the thicker, quilted vests worn by employees at stores like Home Depot or road crews in high-visibility vests. To use the vest, the wearer simply soaks it in cold water for about a minute, wrings it out, and then dries it. As the water held inside the Polycool fibers evaporates, it draws heat from the body, keeping the wearer’s torso cool.

One potential downside for riders is that the EV05-GRE, like other evaporative cooling products, requires exposure to fresh air to function properly. This makes it suitable for activities like walking around a hot swap meet or music festival, but it may not work effectively under a heavy leather jacket or riding suit.
