He previously raced a Mitsubishi 3000GT at Pikes Peak and set a record of 177 miles per hour for its class at the Bonneville Salt Flats. Hennessey once aimed to create an affordable alternative to the Porsche 959 with this model.

Among his collection is a 2005 Dodge Viper that boasts an impressive 1,000 horsepower. Originally built for the founder of Remax real estate company, the Viper was eventually offered to Hennessey in exchange for the purchase of a Venom F5 Roadster.
