John Hennessey, the founder of Hennessey Performance, has a fascinating car collection. In a video, he showcases some of his prized possessions.

One of the cars in Hennessey’s collection is a 1969 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible. This vehicle holds sentimental value as it is similar to his first car. However, this particular car was a gift from his family on his 60th birthday. The Oldsmobile 442 was known for its luxurious features, surpassing the Chevrolet and Pontiac muscle cars of its time. While Hennessey doesn’t disclose the engine details, it likely came with various V8 engine options.

Hennessey also owns a 1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4. Although it remains in stock condition, Hennessey has a long history with cars like this. He previously raced a Mitsubishi 3000GT at Pikes Peak and set a record of 177 miles per hour for its class at the Bonneville Salt Flats. Hennessey once aimed to create an affordable alternative to the Porsche 959 with this model.

Among his collection is a 2005 Dodge Viper that boasts an impressive 1,000 horsepower. Originally built for the founder of Remax real estate company, the Viper was eventually offered to Hennessey in exchange for the purchase of a Venom F5 Roadster. Hennessey eagerly accepted the offer and added the Dodge Viper to his collection.

In addition to these cars, Hennessey owns a 2014 Cadillac CTS-V wagon. This model is similar to a car that was previously part of his collection. Hennessey even used to drive his kids to school in it, delighting them with the powerful sound of the supercharged V8 engine.
