Manhart Gives the BMW M2 Competition an Impressive 715-HP Upgrade

The skilled team at Manhart Performance has once again worked their magic. At first glance, the BMW M2 Competition you see here may not appear too unusual, aside from the prominent rear wing and eye-catching graphics. However, a closer look through the windows reveals segments of a roll cage. And when a car has a cage, you know there’s a good reason for it.

In this case, there are 715 reasons. That’s the amount of horsepower you’ll find under the hood of this modified F87 BMW M2, known as the MH2 700. If this sounds familiar, it’s because we’ve witnessed a previous creation from Manhart, the MH2, which featured their iconic black and gold livery. However, that version “only” generated 630 hp from its 3.0-liter I6 engine with added boost. The new MH2 700 is a whole different beast. The engine has received unspecified reinforcements, which the tuner claims are robust enough to handle an astonishing 1,200 horsepower.

2025 Ram 1500 Facelift Drops Camo, Spied Inside And Out In Big Horn Trim

It’s common knowledge that Ram is working on updating their pickup truck. The front and rear of the truck will undergo some changes. Recently, spy shots taken in Colorado give us a glimpse inside the vehicle as well. The photos show multiple prototypes of what appears to be Ram 1500 trucks in Big Horn trim. This trim level is lower than the previous Rebel sighting and the spy shots of the new range-topping trim called Tungsten. The front of the truck is still heavily camouflaged, but we can make out the outline of a redesigned bumper. The lower grille in the bumper looks like it may be slightly bigger. The headlights also appear to be redesigned and possibly slightly smaller.

Cargo Trailer Transformed Into a Cozy Camper With Beautiful Wood Interior

At first glance, this cargo trailer appears to be nothing more than a utility vehicle used for hauling lawn equipment and other bulky items. However, stepping inside reveals a stunning interior reminiscent of a cozy cabin nestled deep in the woods. This unique creation is the home of artist and sign maker Caley Cason, who shares it with his cat.

While the exterior features a window and propane tanks, the overall design is inconspicuous, making it difficult to distinguish this trailer from a typical travel trailer. A solar panel on the roof goes unnoticed to most observers. Caley purchased the trailer for $8,500 and proceeded to convert it into a tiny home right in his own driveway. The total cost of the project amounts to approximately $25,000 and involved about 500 hours of labor. Caley actually lived inside the trailer during the construction process.

With 88 square feet of space, the interior of the trailer draws inspiration from classic apothecaries. Wood is prominently featured throughout, with intricately carved cabinets adorned with tree motifs reminiscent of an alpine chalet. An artificial tree trunk cleverly conceals wiring for fairy lights on the ceiling, creating a magical ambiance when illuminated. Neon accent lighting further enhances the fantastical atmosphere of the trailer.

The kitchen is equipped with a sink topped with a wooden cutting board, along with shelves that provide ample storage space for various items. Caley has a two-burner gas stove for cooking, as well as a 30-gallon fresh water capacity. Thoughtful details, such as a carved deer head and a custom holder for a cleaver, add to the charm of the space.

A full bathroom is also included in the design, featuring a shower tray that doubles as a livestock water tank, providing ample bathing space for Caley.

The work area consists of a standing desk and a shelf for Caley’s computer, positioned directly in front of a window for a pleasant view of the surroundings. A lower shelf is designated for his cat’s comfort.

In the rear of the trailer is Caley’s sleeping area, elevated off the ground to allow for storage of clothing and other belongings underneath.

Caley resides in Boulder, Colorado, and while he does not mention taking his stealthy tiny home trailer elsewhere, he does have an SUV for towing purposes. The unassuming exterior of the trailer allows Caley to blend in seamlessly while traveling, with most people not giving it a second glance as he drives down the road or parks it for overnight stays.

Recent times have seen an influx of impressive custom camping solutions, such as a black Ram ProMaster with a luxurious cabin interior resembling an upscale apartment. Additionally, an Isuzu box truck with a beautifully designed rear section has also caught attention in the stealth camper community.

$10K Mercedes Sprinter Stealth Camper Has Security Cams, Kitchen, Bathroom

Parked on the street, you wouldn’t realize that this vehicle is actually a stealth camper. From the outside, it appears to be a plain, white van commonly used by plumbers, electricians, and delivery drivers around the world. However, once you step inside, you’ll discover a fully equipped living space complete with a kitchen and bathroom.

This particular van is a 2004 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with a mileage of 229,000. Remarkably, it was converted into a camper for less than $10,000. In a comprehensive tour presented on Sharrieff Fareed’s DualEx YouTube channel, every aspect of the conversion is showcased, including some innovative features that enhance the cozy living space.

Exclusive: Hyundai Santa Fe Takes a Design “Risk”

SangYup Lee, the design head of Hyundai and Genesis, takes us on a tour of the new Santa Fe, which features a drastic departure from its predecessors and other Hyundai models.

This seven-seater SUV has a more robust and less rounded stance compared to Hyundai’s previous 4x4s and SUVs.

“It’s a big change compared to the previous model,” says Lee. The design direction of the new Santa Fe represents a “risk” that was later justified by the introduction of modern SUVs such as the Land Rover Defender and Ford Bronco.

According to Lee, this model is one of Hyundai’s largest and its success is crucial. “Four-and-a-half years ago, we first started this project,” he explains. “We always check big data information to forecast future trends. This was before the pandemic, and one key word that stood out was how ‘outdoors’ culture had become mainstream. We chose the direction to cater to both urban and outdoor lifestyles.”

“When you have a box-style SUV, the proportional balance is crucial,” says Lee. “It features a simple body surface with ample volume, supported by up to 21-inch wheels, which is unheard of in this segment.

“Despite its boxy shape, we wanted to add more precise detailing. Aerodynamics posed a challenge. From an aero engineers’ perspective, a boxy car is considered an ‘aero disaster.’ So, this was one of our challenges.

“The car achieves a 0.29Cd drag coefficient. We put a lot of effort into aerodynamics. It is equipped with an active aero shutter on the front, which is unusual for this segment. Additionally, it has a vertical air curtain that assists in aerodynamics, and the round wheel openings contribute significantly to improved aerodynamics.

“It’s like back in the day with the Porsche 993: the rear fender flare has a softer shape towards the back. Originally, it had a more angular design, but we realized it didn’t enhance aerodynamics.”

Watch how a tow truck saves a Ram 3500 Dually from a precarious position in a ditch

In the world of commercial trucks, the Ram 3500 Crew Cab dually is one of the largest. Imagine a four-door truck with an eight-foot bed and a 14-foot wheelbase, making it nearly 22 feet long. Unfortunately, the driver of this truck miscalculated while navigating an intersection, resulting in the backside of the dually getting stuck several feet into the air.

This dramatic scene was captured in a video by Towtruck_Dustin on YouTube. Thankfully, no injuries were reported from this incident, and the Ram was able to drive away under its own power after being rescued. This indicates that any damage to the undercarriage was likely not severe.

Ram Dually In Ditch

The successful recovery of the Ram can be attributed to the skill of the tow truck operator. While it may seem simple to just winch the truck straight backward, that could potentially cause additional damage to the passenger side of the truck, which is stuck down in the ditch. Instead, the operator uses extra gear to pull the back of the truck down while also applying rearward force. This lifts the front of the truck out of the ditch without causing any damage and ensures that the truck doesn’t get caught on any objects in the ditch, such as a drainage culvert.

The entire operation takes approximately 15 minutes and involves the use of just one tow cable. Once the truck is upright, the Ram driver gently backs away from the ditch, and everything is back to normal. This may seem like an easy recovery, but it requires experience and expertise to safely and effectively handle an 8,000-pound, 22-foot truck on the verge of a rollover.

Meet AKT Motos, A Colombian Moto Brand You’ve Probably Never Heard Of

When it comes to motorcycles, there are numerous manufacturers outside of the North American market that many of us have never even heard of. Different regions have different needs and preferences when it comes to motorcycles. In the US, big, powerful bikes are popular for long-distance travel on freeways. In other congested regions like Europe, Asia, and South America, small-displacement bikes are favored for mobility. Exploring the bikes and manufacturers in these regions is like discovering a whole new world of motorcycles.

AKT Motos is one such brand that many of us, including myself, haven’t heard of until now, but it is one of the biggest names in the motorcycle industry in Colombia. Established in 2004, AKT Motos aimed to produce affordable motorcycles for Colombian residents. Over the past 19 years, the brand has grown significantly and now holds 15 percent of the Colombian motorcycle market. It also exports its bikes to neighboring markets and has recently expanded to Bolivia and Aruba.

Currently, AKT Motos has 5,000 spare parts distributors and 427 service centers in Colombia alone. The brand’s rapid growth and popularity in Colombia can be attributed to its accessibility. AKT Motos sources its products from Chinese and Taiwanese manufacturers and then remodels, reassembles, or rebrands them for the Colombian market. This allows them to offer affordable prices that fit within the budgets of most Colombian residents.

In addition to accessibility, AKT Motos has adopted a unique digital approach to connect with customers. The brand utilizes various online and social media platforms, including WhatsApp, to engage with its customer base. Furthermore, AKT Motos actively promotes safe and defensive riding. The company conducts rider training workshops and runs a road safety campaign called “Mi Familia Me Espera” or “My Family Awaits Me,” emphasizing the importance of riding safely to return home to loved ones.

When it comes to product offerings, AKT Motos has a wide range of bikes to choose from. Their official website showcases an impressive selection, including the workhorse NKD 125 series, sporty naked bikes like the CR4 125, scooters like the Dynamic, and even a sporty supermoto called the TTR 125. With such diverse models and attractive pricing, it’s no wonder that AKT Motos has gained prominence in Colombia.

BETA’S 2024 ELECTRIC DIRT BIKE REVEALED

Beta USA is proud to announce a new model in their range that thinks “outside the box” compared to the current model lineup. The all-new Beta Explorer is a 100% electric E-Moto bike designed to appeal to adult riders of all ages and experience levels. Quiet, simple, and easy to ride, this new model is a collaboration between Beta USA and Apollo Moto, which provides a riding experience like no other. Designed for fun off-road adventure, the Explorer has the features and Rideability that can only be defined by Beta.

Roughly 30% smaller than a normal off-road motorcycle, the Explorer is designed to be less intimidating making it great fun for trail riding, camping, hunting, or just working around the ranch.

The Explorer has three speeds including casual, medium, and for a quick 10-second burst, “Rocket” mode. Casual mode is the most popular setting that most riders will use as it also has the longest range of 50-100 miles. The medium setting offers roughly twice the speed and torque with a range between 30-60 miles. There is also an added reverse gear for backing up out of tight trails or roads.

The Explorer has no pedals but rather folding footpegs like a modern motorcycle. Riders have six different positions to choose from to make the ride the most comfortable. Hydraulic front and rear disc brakes are controlled by levers on the adjustable handlebar. Other features include a 74-volt battery that can be fully charged in about two hours. The battery can also be charged out of the bike as well so riders can charge one battery while riding with a fresh one. The batteries can be swapped out in about three minutes. Fully adjustable front and rear suspension provides a gentle ride perfect for trails and fire roads. There is also a storage system under the seat for a water canteen, a small dome tent, or a nice lunch for a picnic.

The definition of Explorer reads; To transverse over a region for the purpose of new discovery. This sums up the motive of the Beta Explorer! For those who have not yet seen the world from a different perspective, Explorer offers a quiet sense of freedom only found outside.

Beta Explorer models will be available at Authorized Beta USA dealers beginning this October. Go to www.betausa.com to locate a Beta dealer near you and to leave a deposit to ensure delivery.
