The Tata Nexon facelift is undergoing thorough testing, and we recently spotted another test mule in action. While it was heavily camouflaged, one updated feature of the sub-4m SUV was clearly visible. This will be the second major facelift for the Nexon, following the one in early 2020.

What Did We See?

In the latest spy image, we could see the new Nexon’s vertically positioned LED headlights (likely projectors) and LED DRLs in action for the first time. We already know that the SUV will have an updated front end inspired by the Tata Sierra EV and Tata Curvv concepts, including a split-grille setup and a tweaked bumper.

Changes to the sides are minimal and will only include a new design for the alloy wheels. The facelifted Nexon’s rear will have differences in the form of a revised bumper, reshaped tailgate, and LED taillights.

Updates On The Inside

Updates Down The Line

Tata Nexon EV Max

In May 2022, Tata further broadened the Nexon EV range by introducing a longer range version which got the “Max” suffix, which came with a larger battery pack and more features too. However, the entry-level electric SUV from Tata remained a popular choice and its Ziptron tech has become a proven technology for the Indian market with various records to its name.
