The standard CX-30 2.5 S model is equipped with Mazda’s Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter, four-cylinder naturally-aspirated engine. This efficient powertrain delivers 191 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. The CX-30 models also feature i-Activ AWD, G-Vectoring Control Plus, and Off-Road Traction Assist as standard.

However, a recent DIY video on the Eco-Lap Studio YouTube channel proves that you can actually create your own carbon fiber parts at home, using a simple kitchen oven and a few basic ingredients.
In the video, the creator of the channel demonstrates the process by making an engine cover for their personal BMW. What’s interesting is that they use dry carbon fiber, which is different from the type of carbon fiber typically used by luxury car manufacturers like McLaren or Ferrari. Dry carbon fiber is specifically designed for dry layup applications, meaning it doesn’t require any additional resin. As a result, the final product is lighter and more manageable for smaller projects.

(August 1, 2023) – Mazda North American Operations has announced the pricing and packaging for the 2024 CX-5, which is the brand’s best-selling vehicle in the U.S. The 2024 CX-5 now offers new colors, including Platinum Quartz or Zircon Sand Metallic exterior paint when choosing the newly available Carbon Turbo package. Like all Mazda crossover SUVs, the 2024 CX-5 will come standard with i-Activ all-wheel drive in the U.S. when it arrives at dealerships nationwide this fall.
The highly praised CX-5 has received numerous awards for its industry-leading safety features, including the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) TOP SAFETY PICK in 2023. The 2024 model will retain these safety features, including Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Smart Brake Support, Advanced Smart City Brake Support, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist. These features provide drivers with confidence and comfort whether driving in the city or on the highway.
CX-5 2.5 S SELECT
The CX-5 2.5 S models are equipped with Mazda’s efficient Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter, four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine. The engine delivers up to 187 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque and is paired with a quick-shifting six-speed automatic transmission. The CX-5 2.5 S SELECT also includes i-Stop technology, which improves the EPA estimated fuel economy to 26 mpg city, 31 mpg freeway, and 28 mpg combined.
The CX-5 2.5 S SELECT comes with a range of standard features, including Mazda Connected Services, a 10.25″ full-color center display with Mazda Connect infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, push button start, leather-wrapped shifter and steering wheel with mounted audio and cruise control buttons, and dual-zone climate control. CX-5 2.5 S CARBON EDITION
The 2024 CX-5 2.5 S CARBON EDITION offers exclusive styling with a Polymetal Gray exterior paint color. Available as a sedan or hatchback, the Mazda3 offers customers a compact car with engaging driving dynamics and a sophisticated design. Hatchback models will arrive at dealerships this summer, followed by sedan models in the fall.
For 2024, the standard Mazda3 2.5 S models utilize the naturally-aspirated Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter engine that produces 191 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque on regular or premium fuel and is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode. Other standard features include front-wheel drive (FWD), cylinder-deactivation technology, and G-Vectoring Control Plus. The 2024 Mazda3 is available in multiple packaging options allowing owners to choose the vehicle that best fits their day-to-day lives and driving preferences.
MAZDA3 2.5 S Mazda3 2.5 S, available on sedan models, comes standard with many i-Activsense safety features that include Mazda Radar Cruise Control with stop and go function, Smart Brake Support, Lane Departure Warning, Lane-Keep Assist, Driver Attention Alert, High Beam Control, and, for 2024, now features Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Rear Door Alert as standard.
