The Hummer EV SUV’s size might be imposing, but its four-wheel steering surprisingly enhances maneuverability compared to other SUVs. One of the standout features of the Inception is its 800V charging hardware, allowing it to recharge at a rate of nearly 19 miles per minute or more than 90 miles in just five minutes. Peugeot even claims that it can achieve this through induction technology, eliminating the need for a charging cable – although this particular feature has not yet been confirmed for production cars.

The Inception also delivers impressive performance, with its 671bhp motor providing power to each wheel, enabling four-wheel drive and an impressive 0-62mph time of under 3.0 seconds. This highlights Peugeot’s commitment to prioritizing engaging performance in its future flagship EVs.

The Toyota Tacoma is widely known as a capable and reliable mid-size truck. With its TRD Off-Road package, it can easily navigate various terrains. However, like any vehicle, it has its share of advantages and disadvantages, which are discussed in this video by Robs Autos.

After owning his Toyota Tacoma for a year and driving over 15,000 miles, Rob decided to share his thoughts on the truck. He purchased a 2022 model with the TRD Off-Road package in the Lunar Rock color, which cost him around $45,000. The truck also came with additional options such as an upgraded stereo system and LED headlights. Rob has also made some aftermarket modifications, including a CVC tune, Cali Raised Rock Sliders, and FSW wheels.

Rob appreciates the size and ride height of the truck, noting its ability to handle potholes and rough roads with ease. He finds it comfortable and often chooses it for road trips. Rob also likes the truck’s customizability, comparing it to a Honda Civic in terms of being able to modify it according to personal preferences.

On the downside, Rob mentions the truck’s gas mileage, which averaged between 17 to 19 miles per gallon before the CVC tune. He is also dissatisfied with the 3.5-liter V6 engine, which produces 278 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, the engine’s interaction with the transmission led Rob to perform the engine tune after reaching 4,000 miles on the truck.

Despite these issues, Rob generally has positive things to say about his Toyota Tacoma ownership experience. He enjoys driving it and has taken it to places like Joshua Tree National Park. He intends to continue modifying the truck to suit his preferences.

Regarding the Tacoma itself, Toyota has addressed some of the concerns Rob raised with the 2024 model. The new iForce Max hybrid powertrain combines a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and an electric motor, providing 326 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. Google Slapped With Lawsuit Over Data Used To Train Its AI

The seemingly sudden explosion of publicly-available chatbots that utilize very capable large language models (LLMs) raised uncomfortable questions about the nature of copyright and how creators can be properly involved in (or, at least, compensated for) the AI-training process. At the heart of the matter are the datasets used to train various AI models, which can include everything from content scraped from random blogs to scientific journals, libraries of published books, social media platforms, and more. Some companies that wield vast quantities of human-generated content like Reddit and Twitter have scrambled to ensure they’re paid for the info.

While big companies fight with lawsuits, there are many people indirectly swept up in the matter who don’t have the resources to individually challenge tech giants, which is where class action lawsuits may come into play. It’s no surprise, then, that Google is facing a proposed class action suit that wants, among other things, for the company to hit pause on providing commercial access to its AI models. 

The legal action comes from Clarkson Law Firm, and one of the attorneys on the case, Tim Giordano, explained the reasoning in a statement to CNN: “Google needs to understand that ‘publicly available’ has never meant free to use for any purpose. Our personal information and our data is our property, and it’s valuable, and nobody has the right to just take it and use it for any purpose.” Alphabet, Google, and DeepMind haven’t commented on the lawsuit at the time of writing.
