We’ve begun to see large infotainment screens featured in many new vehicles. The 2024 Cadillac XT4 features a large 33-inch infotainment display across the dashboard. This screen easily puts the Cadillac XT4 ahead of the Lincoln Aviator, Acura MDX, and Buick Enclave, none of which have a screen that measures this large at all.
MotorTrend highlights the features and functionality of this new infotainment screen, which houses a large digital gauge cluster on the left and the infotainment system on the right. These two systems are housed under a single piece of glass, giving the screen a continuous look. Thankfully, Cadillac didn’t go full-Tesla with the dashboard style. This new XT4 still features comfort and climate buttons to make it easier for most drivers to select their desired settings.

The plodding sprint speed of the XT4 puts it behind some of its direct competition. Car and Driver tells us the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLB250 would both leave the 2024 XT4 in the dust. Still, driving this SUV on the highway can be pleasant and fun, especially in the Sport trim.

The intelligence of this system makes the XT4 an extremely useful small SUV. Cadillac didn’t change the powertrain of the 2024 XT4 but upgraded many of the other features of this compact luxury SUV.
The Cadillac Escalade is a symbol of American style with impressive performance and a commanding presence. However, some people desire it to have a more striking appearance. To fulfill those desires, Larte Design has introduced the Esthete kit to upgrade the current generation Escalade.
The Esthete kit begins with a subtly modified hood that enhances the imposing profile of the Escalade. It is complemented by Larte Design’s distinctive radiator grille, which features large intakes and the Larte shield logo. The front bumper incorporates LED panels, giving the vehicle a sporty and aerodynamic touch while maintaining its massive and vertical front visage.
Hennessey Performance has released a new video showcasing its HPE1000 upgrade for the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. The video features drag races between the super sedan and a stock Chevrolet Corvette Z06.
The Corvette Z06 is equipped with a naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V8 engine, producing 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. This allows the mid-engine supercar to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.6 seconds. However, Hennessey’s HPE1000 upgrade package for the Cadillac diminishes the Corvette’s numbers.
The CT5-V Blackwing comes with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine, generating 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. However, with Hennessey’s upgrade, the Cadillac’s output increases to 1,000 horsepower and 966 pound-feet of torque.
In the drag races, the Cadillac easily outperforms the Corvette despite the sedan’s heavier weight of 4,123 pounds compared to the Corvette’s 3,686 pounds.
Hennessey has made numerous upgrades to the Cadillac’s engine, including ported cylinder heads, an HPE camshaft, new valves, lifters, pushrods, and a larger supercharger. The upgrade kit also includes a high-flow air intake, larger heat exchangers, and long-tube stainless-steel headers. Hennessey’s engine management software ensures that all the upgrades work together seamlessly.
According to Hennessey, the upgrades enable the Cadillac to reach 60 miles per hour in 2.5 seconds, which is 0.1 seconds quicker than the Corvette and a full second faster than the stock CT5-V Blackwing. The tuned Cadillac can complete the quarter-mile in a claimed 10.1 seconds and has a top speed of 205 mph.
Cadillac recently updated the CT5 sedan for the 2025 model year, introducing subtle styling changes without modifying the powertrains. The updated CT5 offers a standard turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 237 horsepower, or a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine generating 335 horsepower. Hennessey has not disclosed the price of the HPE1000 upgrade package, but it is expected to exceed six figures. The CT5-V Blackwing has a starting price of $93,390, including the $1,395 destination charge. The HPE1000 kit comes with a two-year, 24,000-mile warranty.
