Drop Everything And Look At This Interior

The Bugatti Bolide marks the last hurrah for the Chiron platform. It’s limited to 40 examples worldwide and costs $4.7 million, which makes it one of the most expensive new cars ever built. The bad news is that it’s already sold out, but for the lucky few who did manage to snag a build slot, the Bolide has an extravagant cabin to go with its outrageous looks.

Bugatti is giving us a first production-spec glimpse inside the Bolide at its lavish-yet cockpit-like interior. At the helm is what Bugatti dubs an “X-shaped” steering wheel (or, a yoke) to match the Bolide’s unique taillights, while a digital instrument cluster offers readouts for things like lap times and G forces.

The four “exhaust” pipes jutting out from the dash on either side of the console are actually air conditioning vents and provide another nod to the Bolide’s back end. There’s a bank of buttons for basic functions in the center console as well, including two big red buttons at the base that read “Stop” and “Fire” – you know, just in case.

The sport seats are laid directly onto the monocoque chassis, which helps keep the weight down, while owners can select from four different sizes depending on their body type. The steering wheel and pedals are adjustable in this case instead of the seats.

Blue Alcantara covers most of the cabin and wraps around the driver and passenger on the door sills. There’s a healthy heaping of exposed carbon fiber, too, specifically on the center console, dash, and portions of the door panel.

It’s a beautiful cabin for an already outrageously pretty hypercar.

Bugatti Chiron Super Sport Takes on BMW M4 and M5 in Intense Drag Race

The Bugatti Chiron is widely regarded as a masterpiece of combustion engines, capable of achieving speeds over 300 miles per hour. However, a recent drag racing video shows that even the mighty Chiron is not immune to the aftermarket scene, as it goes up against tuned versions of the BMW M5 and M4.

Under the hood of the Chiron Super Sport lies Bugatti’s impressive quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine, producing an incredible 1,600 horsepower and 1,180 pound-feet (1,600 Newton-meters) of torque. This power is channeled through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox to all four wheels.

New Bugatti Sunglasses Put A Horseshoe Grille Right On Your Nose

Bugatti has recently launched a new line of sunglasses that are sure to catch attention. The Collection Two features five unique sunglass designs for the wealthy individuals to choose from.

One of the most intriguing designs is the first pair, which appears ordinary at first glance with its squared-off lenses. However, upon closer inspection, a flip-down visor reveals a small horseshoe grille just above the bridge of the nose, adorned with the “BUGATTI” wordmark. This addition complements the gold “EB” logos present on the arms of the sunglasses.

Another pair features a more subtle design with a black frame and squared-off shape. The “EB” logos are prominently displayed on both sides. The collection also includes two gold-framed options, one with a tapered design and the other reminiscent of Harry Potter’s spectacles. Additionally, there is a black pair with a unique rounded shape and gold accents.

The sunglasses were designed by Larry Sands, a renowned sunglass designer who took inspiration from Bugatti’s lineup of high-performance vehicles known for their luxury and innovative designs. The Collection Two is being showcased at the SILMO show in Paris, and although the pricing details have not been released yet, the sunglasses from Collection One ranged from $1,295 to $15,000, depending on the style.

It’s interesting to note that Bugatti doesn’t limit its product range to cars. In addition to sunglasses, they offer various non-car accessories, including a bejeweled carbon fiber egg, a Bugatti safe, Bugatti bottle cases, and even a Bugatti electric scooter.

VW Group Signs Deal to Import and Sell Bugatti and Rimac Cars in the US

Volkswagen Group of America has recently announced its agreement with Bugatti Rimac to serve as the division’s importer and distributor in the United States. This partnership will involve Sascha Doering, the current COO of Bugatti America, expanding his role to also include Rimac.

While this agreement was actually finalized during Monterey Car Week in September, VW has only just now made the official announcement. The companies are now working on establishing a dealer network for the sale of these high-end vehicles in the US.

“The US is the strongest single market in the world for both Bugatti and Rimac brands, so it’s crucial that we create a sales and ownership experience that matches the extraordinary cars we’re delivering to customers,” said Mate Rimac, CEO of Bugatti Rimac.

Previously, Volkswagen Group of America handled the distribution of Bugatti vehicles in the US. However, this changed with the formation of the Bugatti Rimac joint venture.

The Bugatti Rimac joint venture was established in 2021, with the company’s headquarters located in Croatia. Bugatti production continues to take place in Molsheim, France. Additionally, Porsche currently owns 45% of Bugatti and 24% of Rimac.

Rimac has already delivered at least three Neveras in the United States. The first one was Gunpowder Gray with a pearlescent finish and featured Gunmetal Infinitus wheels. Inside, the car had Alcantara upholstery with green highlights.

Rimac’s Chief Technology Officer, Emilio Scervo, revealed that the company aims to reduce the weight of its future models compared to current ones. “Thinking about a track version [of the Nevera], definitely what we should be working on is making it lighter,” Scervo stated. “And some other tweaks to deliver stiffness, to make the car more connected to the driver.”

According to Bugatti Rimac CEO Mate Rimac, this upcoming model can be described as a “hypercar rearranged as a hybrid,” with the combustion engine component being described as “totally bonkers.” Some wealthy individuals have already had the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the car.

Bugatti Bolide Without Body Panels Is Peak Automotive Nudity

Bugatti wants you to know that the Bolide is more than just a track-limited version of the Chiron. The talented engineers at Molsheim have developed a new carbon fiber monocoque for the Bolide, which is not only stiffer and stronger but also compliant with LMH and LMDh regulations for endurance race cars. The track-only Bolide had to undergo additional changes to meet crash test requirements that differ from those of the road-legal model.

New images of the Bolide reveal the car without its body panels, exposing the monocoque. It looks rugged and resembles a vehicle straight out of a Mad Max movie. Impressively, the monocoque passed a test conducted by the FIA, where a load of 16,534 pounds (7.5 metric tons) was applied to the A-pillar without exceeding a deflection of 1.97 inches (50 millimeters) at the load point. Furthermore, the structure around a 3.93-inch (100-mm) radius of that point also had to withstand the heavy load.

These vehicles are a combination of high performance, advanced engineering, technology, luxuriousness, style, craftsmanship, and personalization. They are cars that leave a lasting impression and are sought after for years to come. With a history of over a century, Bugatti has been creating exceptional luxury, performance, and racing machines. In recent decades, Bugatti has introduced groundbreaking supercars that have set new standards in the automotive industry. Many of these amazing vehicles are available for purchase on duPontREGISTRY.com.

It all began in the 1990s with the Bugatti EB 110. This car was developed by an Italian company owned by Romano Artioli. The EB 110 featured all-wheel drive, a quad-turbocharged V12 engine, and a top speed of over 200 mph, making it incredibly impressive for its time. The EB 110 marked Bugatti’s return to the automotive market after a long period of inactivity. However, due to unfavorable economic conditions, the car did not achieve the success it deserved.

In the 2000s, Bugatti returned with an even more ambitious and revolutionary car: the Veyron. Under the ownership of the Volkswagen Group, Bugatti created the Veyron by combining various concepts and experimental cars from different brands within the Volkswagen Group. The Veyron featured an unprecedented 8-liter W16 engine with quad-turbocharging and all-wheel drive, allowing it to achieve a mind-boggling top speed of 253 mph. The Grand Sport variant also offered an open-top driving experience. With the introduction of the Super Sport version, the Veyron broke multiple world records and reached a top speed of nearly 268 mph.

But Bugatti didn’t stop there. The Chiron followed the success of the Veyron, pushing the boundaries of power, performance, technology, and design. The Chiron improved upon the Veyron’s capabilities with increased power and performance, as well as more advanced technology and a wider range of models to suit different driving preferences. The Divo, a rare and highly exclusive variant of the Chiron, took the hypercar’s abilities to new heights, showcasing a side of Bugatti that had never been seen before. All of these extraordinary hypercars, including the EB 110, Veyron, Chiron, and Divo, can be found for sale on duPontREGISTRY.com, along with other rare and celebrated hypercars.

The ‘Golden Era’ has been a two-year journey of meticulous craftsmanship and collaboration with the car’s owner. More than 400 hours were devoted to the sketching process alone, resulting in 45 hand-drawn sketches that capture the timeless icons of the Bugatti brand.

The artwork on the Chiron Super Sport ‘Golden Era’ required the development of new techniques due to its complexity. The final product is a vehicle that not only represents Bugatti’s heritage but also reflects the owner’s personality, ambition, and appreciation for the brand’s iconic cars.

The Sur Mesure program by Bugatti pushed the boundaries of ordinary car customization to achieve perfection. It involved a fusion of co-creation and inspiration, leading to the creation of a hyper sports car that is incomparable and deeply personal.

Hendrik Malinowski, Bugatti’s Managing Director, praised the Sur Mesure program for its limitless creativity and called the car a “timeless magnus opus.” He emphasized Bugatti’s ability to set trends and redefine luxury, artistry, and technology.

Bugatti’s commitment to redefining design boundaries and delivering bespoke craftsmanship is rooted in the brand’s founding leadership, and it continues to thrive today. The Sur Mesure program is a testament to this commitment, offering unique masterpieces and evolving the couture service for customers.

After The Quail event, Bugatti will continue inviting customers to experience these golden masterpieces up close. It is a celebration of an era of automotive excellence and solidifies Bugatti’s position as a modern-day icon.

As Ettore Bugatti once said, “If comparable, it is no longer Bugatti.” The Chiron Super Sport ‘Golden Era’ epitomizes this statement, paying tribute to a brand that has always pushed boundaries since its establishment in 1909. With the Sur Mesure service, Bugatti reaffirms its commitment to perfection in every car. The Chiron Super Sport ‘Golden Era’ stands as a symbol of what can be accomplished when ambition knows no limits.
