This 43mm Royal Oak Concept Split-Seconds Chronograph GMT Large Date is a true work of art, driven by the unique self-winding Calibre 4407 movement. It features a flyback chronograph, split-seconds mechanism, and color design that mirrors the car’s aesthetics.

What sets this collaboration apart is the client’s request to have the timepiece integrated into the car itself, yet removable for personal wear. Through meticulous engineering, Rolls-Royce created a powered clasp mechanism that presents the watch at the push of a button. Once removed, an elegant titanium openworked blank head watch and hand-sculpted white-gold coin with a rose engraving take its place. The addition of a soft leather pouch in the door panniers for housing the strap and blank head watch completes this extraordinary package. Bugatti Showcases the Chiron Super Sport ‘Golden Era’ at The Quail

Bugatti, the renowned luxury and performance car manufacturer, has unveiled its latest masterpiece, the Chiron Super Sport ‘Golden Era’, at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering. This car represents Bugatti’s commitment to combining automotive engineering with artistic craftsmanship and signifies the 20th anniversary of this prestigious event.

The Chiron Super Sport ‘Golden Era’ is a result of Bugatti’s Sur Mesure service, which provides a highly personalized customer experience. Its stunning golden finish shines brilliantly under the Californian sun, showcasing the pinnacle of automotive aesthetics.

The Quail event showcased extraordinary cars from around the world against the backdrop of the majestic Santa Lucia Mountain range. Bugatti made history by presenting not only the Chiron Super Sport ‘Golden Era’ but also a golden W16 Mistral. The ‘Golden Era’ has been a two-year journey of meticulous craftsmanship and collaboration with the car’s owner. More than 400 hours were devoted to the sketching process alone, resulting in 45 hand-drawn sketches that capture the timeless icons of the Bugatti brand.

The Crown Jewel Of Custom Bikes: Oehlerking’s BMW R 18 Triumph Unveiled

Celebrated motorcycle customizer Dirk Oehlerking has unveiled “The Crown,” a remarkable custom design based on the BMW R 18. With over 30 years of experience and expertise, Oehlerking’s latest creation is a masterpiece in motorcycle design.

To pay homage to 100 years of BMW Motorrad, Oehlerking has infused “The Crown” with a distinctive design language that embodies power, elegance, and innovation. The build starts with a stripped-down BMW R 18, which is then transformed with meticulously handcrafted body parts made of 2 mm thick aluminum sheet metal. These parts form an 8-liter fuel tank and a unique double-sided swinging arm with central suspension strut in the front wheel suspension.

In terms of performance, the engine and rear suspension remain true to the original BMW R 18. However, the dual stainless-steel exhaust manifolds are completely hand-made, highlighting Oehlerking’s commitment to craftsmanship. Standard components such as the headlight, instrument, and footrest system seamlessly blend into “The Crown” concept. The bike is further enhanced with high-end additions like the Magura clutch and handbrake fittings, Wunderkind’s rear mudguard, and a saddle wrapped in genuine leather.

The BMW R 18 “The Crown” is crowned with a luxurious Champagne Platinum paint finish, embellished with mother-of-pearl accents and a miniature BMW emblem. The unveiling of “The Crown” will take place from July 7-9th at the BMW Motorrad Days in Berlin, celebrating 100 years of BMW Motorrad.
