The closure is expected to be temporary, but the announcement from H-D India is clear about the upcoming pause in bookings. The official announcement states, “Introductory price booking to end on 3rd August. Book now and secure your X440 for a starting price of Rs. 229,000”

The Harley-Davidson X440 is available in three models on the Harley-Davidson India website. The base model is the X440 Denim priced at Rs. 229,000. The X440 Vivid is available in Metallic Thick Red or Metallic Dark Silver for Rs. 249,000, and the top-tier X440 S comes in Matte Black for Rs. 269,000. It is unclear if the pricing will change after the initial bookings close on August 3, 2023.
While Hero Motocorp and Harley-Davidson CEO Jochen Zeitz have mentioned the positive response to pre-bookings, no specific numbers have been provided. Whether the announcement aims to boost pre-orders or not, customers are always interested in getting the best deal when buying a new bike.
