However, after removing this feature from the manual variants, their claimed fuel efficiency has dropped to 17.38kmpl, a decrease of 2.77kmpl from the previous figure of 20.15kmpl (LXI and VXI MT).

On the other hand, the automatic variants of the Maruti Brezza still feature mild-hybrid technology and maintain a fuel economy of 19.80kmpl.
