Why Netflix Keeps Crashing on Roku (And How to Fix It)

If you’re experiencing issues with Netflix crashing on your Roku, it could be due to a mismatch between the versions of your Roku device and the Netflix app. To resolve this, you can try performing a system update on your Roku to ensure you have the latest firmware. While the Netflix app usually updates automatically, it’s worth manually checking for any available updates on your Roku.

  1. Go to the Settings menu.

  2. Select System.

  3. Select System Update.

  4. Select Check now.

  5. If an update is available, follow the instructions to install it.

Note that if the update is significant, your Roku may need to restart. Once the update is complete, try using Netflix again to see if the issue is resolved.

If the problem persists, you might need to consider performing a factory reset on your Roku. This will restore it to its original settings, but be aware that a factory reset will delete any saved preferences, apps, and accounts, requiring you to set everything up again.

  1. Go to the Settings menu.

  2. Select System.

  3. Select Advanced system settings.

  4. Select Factory reset.

  5. Select Factory reset everything.

Be aware that the factory reset process will take a few minutes. Once it’s complete, your Roku will reboot and guide you through the initial setup process again.

Google Bard AI: How To Use One Of The Best Chat-GPT Alternatives

After you enter your prompt, Bard will give you a response in just a few seconds. You can choose to read the text or listen to it by clicking on the speaker icon at the top right corner of the response box. Bard generates three different responses for each prompt you send. If you want to see the other options, click on “View other drafts” and select Draft 2 or Draft 3.

If you don’t like any of the responses given, you can regenerate new ones. Simply select “View other drafts” and click on the circular arrow button next to Draft 3. This will delete the initial three Bard responses and provide you with a fresh set. Additionally, there are modification options available to improve the Bard responses. Scroll down to the bottom of the response box and click on the modify icon next to the thumbs-down icon. Then, choose how you want to change the response—options include Shorter, Longer, Simpler, More casual, and More professional. Bard will then generate three new responses. However, if you prefer to search the internet for an answer to your query, simply click on the “Google it” button at the bottom and select a search term from the given options. This will open a new tab with Google.

If you wish to provide feedback to the developers about a response, use the thumbs-up or thumbs-down buttons to indicate whether you think the specific response is good or bad.

New Cardo Update Offers Easy Bluetooth Connectivity with Other Brands

If you enjoy using Bluetooth communication devices when riding with friends, then you’ll be pleased to know that Cardo Systems has announced an exciting update. Starting from July 11, 2023, Cardo is releasing a new over-the-air software update that is compatible with all current 2023 Cardo devices, except for the Packtalk Slim.

So, what’s the good news? This update fulfills a major request from many users: one-touch Bluetooth connectivity between your Cardo device and Bluetooth communication units from Sena, Midland, and Uclear. With this update, frustrating and complicated pairing processes will be a thing of the past.

In a statement, Cardo’s Chief Marketing Officer, Dan Emodi, said, “In a recent survey conducted with motorcycle communicator users across the globe, Intercom connectivity with other brands was one of the most popular suggestions from respondents when asked what could be done to improve their communication experience. We’ve always strived to offer our own customers more and with this update we’re able to offer more independence for our users and friends using devices from other major brands, giving much greater choice, freedom, and flexibility.”

Riders can now freely choose any current-generation Bluetooth communicator without sacrificing phone connectivity, navigation, or connectivity with other Bluetooth devices. The only restriction is that music sharing won’t be possible over this connection. Nevertheless, this update is a significant step forward compared to the previous limitations of cross-brand Bluetooth communication.

To get the update, all you need to do is download the latest software through the Cardo Connect app on your smartphone if you have a current-gen Cardo communicator. Once installed, you’ll be able to pair your Cardo unit with your friends’ devices, as long as they are using current-gen comms from the compatible manufacturers.

When Bluetooth communication units first gained popularity, it seemed like a great idea. However, it quickly became frustrating when riders had to spend a significant amount of time trying to pair devices from different brands. Riding motorcycles is about enjoying the experience, not dealing with compatibility issues. Thankfully, with this update, Cardo is directly addressing the problem of Bluetooth connectivity and making it easier for riders to communicate with each other.

Import Alert: This 1987 Honda CB750F Hurricane From Japan Needs A New Home

If you’re a fan of ’80s and ’90s Japanese sportbike styling, then you’re definitely going to want to take a look at this sweet 1987 Honda CBR750F Hurricane that’s for sale in Nebraska. A previous owner went to the trouble of importing it into the States from Japan, and it’s not difficult to see why. I mean, just look at this thing, and then watch the video and listen to it ride.

It’s powered by a liquid-cooled, 748cc, dual overhead cam inline four-cylinder engine that, when new, made a claimed 105 horsepower at 10,500 rpm, alongside 56.8 pound-feet of torque at 8,500 rpm. It’s outfitted with Keihin carburetors and has a six-speed gearbox.

Suspension consists of a telescopic fork up front and Pro-Link suspension in the back. Brakes are Nissin at both ends, with a two-disc setup in front and a single disc in the rear. The odometer shows around 7,000 kilometers, or about 4,400 miles ridden, but of course the actual total mileage is unknown.

The most attention-grabbing part of this bike is undoubtedly the styling. This particular bike features bold blue and white livery with red, black, and gold accents to really set the entire thing off. That four-into-two exhaust, especially when taken with the white three-spoke wheels, is also a fantastic example of some of the best of Honda’s late-80s styling.

The mirrors and clear windscreen look remarkably good for this bike’s age, although it’s not without some aesthetic issues. The seller notes some paint bubbles and chips here and there, and also illustrates them in some of the photos. (Speaking of which, you can check the listing in our Sources to see more photos, as well as place a bid on the auction if you’re interested.) A previous owner also installed a coating inside the fuel tank, although specifics of the coating aren’t given in the listing.

Are you wondering about the title since it’s a Japanese-market bike? No worries there, as the seller says it’s offered complete with a clean Nebraska title for whoever wins this auction. At the time of writing on July 10, 2023, the bid is up to $1,000. The auction ends on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 3:16 p.m. Eastern.

How Ford’s 427 Big Block Revolutionized Racing

The 427 big block engine from Ford had a significant impact on various racing applications during the mid-1960s. While the overhead cam variation of the engine wasn’t suitable for the sleek GT40, it found its perfect match in the large engine bays of NASCAR stock cars and drag racing setups. At that time, overhead camshafts (camshafts located within the engine’s cylinder heads) were considered cutting-edge technology, especially coming from a domestic automaker.

When Ford introduced the overhead cam (known as the “Cammer”) 427 for NASCAR racing, it faced significant resistance. In 1964, NASCAR’s figurehead, Bill France, rejected Ford’s request to compete with the new engine. However, Ford needed an effective solution to stay competitive against Chrysler’s powerful 426 cubic inch Hemi engine with hemispherical combustion chambers. Undeterred, Ford proceeded with the development of the Cammer engine.

Later that same year, NASCAR implemented a ban on all “special racing engines,” including both Ford’s Cammer and Chrysler’s Hemi. In response, Chrysler chose to temporarily withdraw from NASCAR racing. On the other hand, Ford accepted the decision and continued to race using the conventional pushrod version of the 427 engine. This was the same engine type that powered renowned vehicles like the GT40 and Shelby Cobras during that era.

This Custom Indian Sport Chief By Krazy Horse Is All The Rage

Indian Motorcycles is known for its prestigious lineup of motorcycles. Both in the past and present, this American brand has produced some of the most recognizable bikes on the road. Aside from their unique charm and impressive performance, Indian motorcycles also serve as excellent platforms for custom builds. Enter the “Rage,” a custom Indian Sport Chief created by Krazy Horse in collaboration with Richard Jones, the bassist, keyboardist, and vocalist of the British rock band Stereophonics. Krazy Horse specializes in custom builds focusing on Indian’s cruiser range, and the Rage is their latest addition. Their builds strike a balance between style and functionality, and the Rage is no exception. The bike was designed with the unique road conditions in the U.K. in mind, resulting in a distinct “British look and feel.”

The collaboration between Indian Motorcycles and Krazy Horse has resulted in a visually appealing build that pays attention to the finer details. The cockpit has been customized with tasteful parts from Wunderkind, a custom bike parts manufacturer. These parts include new grips, clutch and brake levers, master cylinder covers, foot pegs, and a gear shifter. They work together to give the bike a bespoke and factory-fresh appearance. Additionally, the Rage features several one-off custom parts. Richard Jones himself helped design the sand-cast aluminum derby cover, and a custom belly pan with integrated cooling fins was added to help regulate the temperature of the bike’s powerful 1,890cc engine.

The aesthetic elements of the build are equally as impressive. Krazy Horse designed custom sand-cast aluminum side covers to give the bike a unique look. The turn signals were relocated to the front cowl and rear fender to create a more streamlined aesthetic. The build is completed with a stunning custom paint job from Pageant Paintwork, featuring a black and blue design with silver pin striping. The saddle was also hand-painted with a custom tattoo design by Rich Jones.

To enhance its road presence, the Rage is equipped with a custom two-into-one performance exhaust system from OJZ Engineering and a Billet Performance air filter.

Can this Minibike Really Reach a Speed of 100 Miles Per Hour?

If you’re someone who loves to tackle hands-on projects, then you’re probably familiar with what I call “project brain.” It’s when you become so focused on achieving a specific goal that you throw caution to the wind. Did you end up spending more money than you planned on? Maybe. But you’re determined to get the job done. That’s what matters.

In a new video series from the YouTube channel Donut, motorcycle enthusiast Jeremiah Burton has taken on a new project: transforming a Coleman Powersports minibike from Wal-Mart into a 100mph speed demon. Can he do it? Even if he doesn’t, at least they’ll have an entertaining video series to show for it.

Before reaching his goal, Jeremiah needs to understand what he’s working with. After spending some time on the dyno, he discovers that the stock bike only produces 3.47 horsepower. To hit 100mph, he estimates that he’ll need to increase the power output to around 28 horsepower. It won’t be easy, but Jeremiah is determined to prove the naysayers wrong.

With a mountain of upgraded parts, Jeremiah sets to work on the bike’s engine. He replaces the connecting rod, flywheel, side cover, cylinder head, and carburetor, among other things. The only original component he keeps is the engine case itself.

When you combine the motivation to prove doubters wrong with project brain, it’s easy to stay focused on the goal. The video series has two more parts remaining, and glimpses of the future suggest that the bike becomes significantly faster and more powerful. Will it ultimately reach 100mph? Only time will tell.

Ford Maverick Owner Not Happy With Ground Clearance After A Year Of Driving

The Maverick, Ford’s entry-level pickup, debuted in 2021 and since then has been sold in over 120,000 units in the United States alone. Presumably, some buyers got a Maverick as their first-ever pickup, but others chose Ford’s unibody truck because it promises decent fuel economy and lower maintenance costs compared to the bigger pickups out there.

However, as the video embedded at the top of this page shows, it’s not a perfect vehicle, especially if you like to wander off the beaten track frequently.

YouTuber Overland Florida explains in the 5-minute long production that the biggest gripe he has with his 2022 Ford Maverick Lariat FX4 is the low ground clearance and low-hanging front bumper, which isn’t ideal when going off-road.

He says that because it’s an FX4-equipped pickup, it should have a higher ground clearance from the factory, seeing how the optional package comes with goodies like all-terrain tires, exposed front tow hooks, hill descent control, and skid plates as standard.

Ford released the Tremor pack for the 2023 model year, which comes with a lot more off-road-oriented features, like an electronic lockable rear differential, skid plates, and – more to the point of this article – different front and rear shocks that increase the ride height by one inch (25 millimeters), compared to the base variant Maverick.

Unfortunately, cooler and more feature-rich variants usually come later in the life of a new vehicle – an issue early adopters have to live with.
