Shoei’s Grasp Graphic For The Neotec 3 Comes Out December In Japan

A new graphic option for the Shoei Neotec 3 is set to be released in Japan in December. Known as the Grasp, this helmet is available in either a tri-color or bi-color design and meets the latest safety standards. It also comes equipped with the latest touring technology from Shoei, a popular Japanese helmet maker.

Shoei has had to update its entire range of products to comply with the ECE 22.06 requirements and to keep up with the evolving standards in the helmet industry. This includes the Neotec 2, as well as other helmets like the GT Air 3 and X-Fifteen. After the global launch, Shoei started rolling out new graphics for its lineup.

The Grasp graphic features a modern design with swoops and shapes that are reminiscent of sport tourers or adventure tourers. It is available in various colors that complement the color schemes of popular motorcycle brands like Honda, Ducati, Aprilia, and BMW GS.

If you prioritize safety and visibility, the Yellow/Black option is ideal for you. Alternatively, you can choose the Black/Red or White/Black colorways to match your Honda, Ducati, or Aprilia motorbike. The Blue/White variant is recommended for GS owners or those planning to purchase the new R 1300 GS model.

Japan will be the first to receive the Grasp graphic option in December 2023. However, European customers already have access to the Neotec 3 with the Grasp graphic, according to online retailers.

In terms of specifications, the Neotec 3 features a Shoei AIM+ shell (Advanced Integrated Matrox Plus Multi-Fiber) and the JIS sticker for the Japanese market. It also boasts a new latching mechanism for the CNS-3C main visor. The Neotec 3 is ECE 22.06 certified for other markets, ensuring it is one of the safest helmets available. With the Shoei name behind it, this modular helmet is highly regarded by riders who prioritize safety and comfort during touring.

The Neotec 3 in the Grasp graphic will be priced at 88,000 JPY in Japan, which is approximately $590 USD.
