This engine produces 503 PS and 700 Nm, and receives a 20 PS boost from the mild-hybrid system. The S 580 is equipped with a 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 4.8 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kmph.
The Maybach S-Class also offers an S 680 variant, which features a 6-litre V12 petrol engine producing 612 PS and 900 Nm.
