2024 Honda Ridgeline Updates Include New Interior Design and TrailSport Trim

The 2024 Honda Ridgeline is receiving several updates, with the most notable being a redesigned interior that takes inspiration from the Pilot SUV. Additionally, a new TrailSport trim level is introduced, featuring all-terrain tires and a suspension tuning designed for off-road driving. While some may have been hoping for a complete model redesign, Honda assures that the alterations made to the 2024 Ridgeline will satisfy fans of the truck.

One of the key updates is the introduction of the TrailSport model. Honda claims that the 2024 Ridgeline TrailSport is their most capable pickup truck to date, thanks to unique damper tuning that enhances traction and articulation. Unlike the Pilot TrailSport, the Ridgeline (and its sibling, the Passport) do not receive an additional lift from their off-road suspension. However, an exciting addition to the Ridgeline TrailSport is the inclusion of all-terrain tires. Equipped with 18-inch wheels shared with the Passport TrailSport, the General Grabber A/T Sport rubber is expected to provide superior traction compared to the all-season tires used in other Ridgeline models.

2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Debuts With Mid-$50K Price, Taking on the Bronco

Since the 2021 model year, the Toyota Land Cruiser has been missing from the automaker’s US lineup. What once started as a rugged competitor to the Jeep CJ5 has evolved into a luxurious eight-seat SUV with a hefty price tag of $87,000, along with impressive off-road capabilities.

Despite its absence for three years, a new off-road SUV is making its way back to American showrooms. The 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser is paying homage to its roots with retro styling cues, a more compact size, and most importantly, a lower price. While it may not be the open-top FJ40 revival that many were hoping for, the new Land Cruiser is expected to be more affordable than its predecessor, with a starting price in the mid-$50,000 range. Codenamed the J250, this new model is built on the same TNGA-F platform as the Lexus GX and the overseas-only 300-Series Land Cruiser, but it comes with a price tag that is more budget-friendly than the former and smaller dimensions than the latter.

Investigation Launched into Bright “X” Sign at Twitter Headquarters

Twitter headquarters is once again facing trouble over its recent rebranding efforts. The company had begun dismantling its vertical Twitter sign without informing the property owner, leading to law enforcement halting the work midway. As a result, only the “er” part of the logo remained intact.

A complaint about an “unsafe sign” was filed with the San Francisco Department of Building Inspection regarding the “@” symbol on the vertical branding board. Inspectors were worried that it could fall and cause harm to pedestrians. Both the “@” symbol and the remaining “er” sections of the sign have since been taken down. It is uncertain whether Twitter will have to remove its new illuminated sign on top of the building.

In addition to the sign investigation, Twitter’s rebranding has faced ongoing criticism, and there are concerns about potential legal issues related to their use of the letter “X.” Meta and Microsoft own trademarks for the letter “X,” and as Meta now competes directly with Twitter through its own microblogging platform called Threads, there might be a possibility of courtroom drama in the future.
