What To Do If Your Amazon Echo Isn’t Responding

To ensure your Echo is working optimally, it’s important to keep its software up to date. Software updates bring new features, fix bugs, and improve the overall functionality of your device. While Echo devices using Alexa typically receive software updates automatically when connected to the internet, an unresponsive Echo may not be able to download these updates. Manually checking for updates can help ensure your device is running the most recent software version and potentially resolve unresponsiveness issues.

Follow these steps to check for and install updates on your Echo:

1. Ensure your Echo is connected to WiFi.

2. Say, “Alexa, check for software updates” to trigger an automatic update check. If that doesn’t work, move on to the steps below.

Forcing a software update on a standard Echo:

1. Press the mute button on top of the device.

2. The light ring will turn red to indicate that muting is active.

3. Leave your Echo in mute mode for 15 minutes to an hour.

4. Alexa will alert you that it needs to perform an update.

5. Your device will then proceed to install the latest version of the software.

Forcing an update on an Echo Show:

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen and select the settings menu.

2. Navigate to Device Options and then select Check for Software Updates.

3. If an update is available, the Echo Show will automatically start the update process.

This video is part of Triumph’s build-up to the official reveal of the new 250cc Motocross bike. It offers viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the project team, details about the all-new aluminium chassis and engine, and a glimpse of the final test.

The official release date for the bike is yet to be announced.

While crossovers dominate the market, Renault is committed to keeping the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) alive as an alternative. The all-new Grand Kangoo, showcased at the 2023 IAA Mobility event in Munich, offers exceptional practicality at an affordable price. Building upon the third-generation Kangoo launched in 2020, this MPV features a modular interior with seven individual seats.

As one of the most versatile vehicles showcased at this year’s IAA, the 2024 Grand Kangoo also serves as a van. By removing the three seats from the middle row and the two seats from the rear row, the cargo capacity increases significantly. To determine the worst performers in this area, Cars.com conducted tests on 56 car models. The evaluation included factors such as the latches, rear-facing infant seats, rear-facing convertible seats, forward-facing convertible seats, high-back booster seats, and third-row access (if applicable).

Cars.com assigned letter grades to the vehicles in their study. To compare the results, we converted these grades to numbers and calculated the average figures. Similar to a school GPA, where a 4.0 represents straight A’s, the closer a car’s score is to 4.0, the better it performs in accommodating car seats.

Car paparazzi recently captured the baby Lambo being tested on public roads. Surprisingly, the prototype seems to have the production body rather than provisional panels typically found on early test mules.

The test vehicle is easily recognizable with yellow “high-voltage” stickers, indicating its use of a hybrid powertrain. To add some amusement, Lamborghini placed stickers on the headlights to deceive the casual observer into thinking they are Gallardo headlights. However, closer inspection reveals the real lights are located lower. The front bumper features massive air intakes and incorporates hexagonal daytime running lights.
