Spotted: 2024 KTM 990 Duke Prototype Winds Down A Sunny Mountain Road

In the 2020s, KTM is rumored to be developing a new 990 Duke, which would be a successor to the KTM 990 Super Duke that was last seen in their lineup 10 years ago. The speculation about a new 990 Duke gained strength in January 2023 when engine drawings from China suggested that the cylinder of the LC8c engine was elongated, indicating significant changes. Now, the existence of the 990 Duke prototype has been further confirmed by spy photos taken during testing. The photos show a partially undisguised prototype, with the rider wearing a matching set of leathers and helmet.

The test mule featured in the photos has a black-and-white color scheme, with hints of KTM’s signature orange on the front fork and the piping around the soft panniers attached to the tail. The rider’s helmet, boots, and race suit also have orange accents. However, the right side of the bike is not visible in these shots, only the front, left side, and rear. The test bike has black alloy wheels with a different spoke pattern compared to the 2023 890 Duke R. The mirrors appear to be similar between the test bike and the 890 Duke.

One noticeable difference between the test bike and the 890 Duke R is the front headlight and cowling design. The 990 Duke prototype features a smaller, angular lattice surrounding a smaller headlight, which gives the impression of brightness despite its size. The swingarm of the test bike also appears to be revised compared to the existing 890 Duke R.

Although the 990 Duke’s styling stays true to Kiska’s signature sharp and angular design language for KTM, it offers a unique take on naked styling. It is expected that the official debut of the completed KTM 990 Duke will take place towards the end of 2023 as a 2024 model. However, it is unclear if the unveiling will happen at EICMA 2023 in November or at a different event. Regardless, motorcycle enthusiasts will be keeping a close watch for updates on this highly anticipated model.

Microsoft Introduces AI Hub in the Windows 11 App Store

Microsoft is incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) into the Windows Store with the introduction of the AI Hub. While it is uncertain how much value this will bring to the average Windows user, it offers a convenient way to explore and discover AI applications that could be beneficial.

This addition also serves as a platform for Microsoft to promote its own Office suite of productivity apps, which now feature enhanced AI capabilities. Back in March 2023, Microsoft launched Microsoft 365 Copilot, which utilizes AI to enhance Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and other apps. With this tool, Word can generate draft ideas, while PowerPoint can create detailed presentations based on a short text prompt.

Moreover, Microsoft has plans to introduce more AI-driven features to the Windows Store. One such feature, highlighted by the company, is the “AI-Generated Review Summary” that summarizes an app’s description and user reviews, providing users with a quick understanding of what an app offers and whether users are satisfied with it.

Ferrari Shows Off A New Tailor Made SF90 Spider In Grigio Galvano

It’s hard to imagine a Ferrari without picturing a bright red car. The historic and traditional color of Italian racing, red, and especially Rosso Corsa, has become more than just a signature hue for the Prancing Horse, but rather synonymous with Ferrari’s notorious speed, exclusivity, engineering, luxury, and style. However, while many Ferraris still sport red paintwork, the introduction and growth of Ferrari’s Tailor Made program has opened the doors further to various color choices being explored by Ferrari owners for the interiors and exteriors of their cars, showing that red is just one of a broad spectrum of colors that look stunning on a Ferrari.

Ferrari showed off a new Tailor Made commission of an SF90 Spider on Instagram, and it features an exterior finished in a beautiful Grigio Galvano paintwork, paired with black on the pillars and roof. The interior brings together black UltraSuede with glossy carbon fiber, as well as black leather for a monochromatic look distinguished by different textures, which is paired with an elegant and subtle stitching on the headrests in Beige 279. Together, this beautiful car is an elegant and understated machine made for open-top driving pleasure, with the potential to deliver fearsomely powerful performance, making it a through and through example of Ferrari at its best, even without the red paint.
