Google Bard surpasses ChatGPT in multiple aspects. Unlike ChatGPT, which only accepts written prompts, Google Bard supports both written and spoken inputs. With its microphone access feature, users can interact with the AI chatbot using their voice. By simply clicking on the microphone icon, users can speak their prompts, watch Bard transcribe it, and receive a response. This feature makes Google Bard more inclusive and user-friendly, especially for individuals who are unable to physically use a mouse and keyboard.
Google Bard allows users to utilize audio inputs similar to text prompts. Instead of typing a request, users can comfortably communicate with Bard through speech. Whether it’s inquiring about recent news, requesting a Facebook caption for a store anniversary, having it generate code for a Raspberry Pi project, or even translating languages, Bard’s audio prompts prove to be highly advantageous. While it currently supports only three languages (U.S. English, Korean, and Japanese) at the moment, the developers are actively working on expanding the language options, providing users with the possibility of utilizing additional languages in the future.
Squarespace has announced its plan to purchase the assets of Google Domains, making it the new marketplace for almost 10 million domains previously associated with Google’s short-lived venture. To address concerns about domain renewal, Squarespace guarantees that it will honor the existing renewal prices for Google Domains customers for at least 12 months after the transaction is complete.
Both companies claim that the process of transferring domains will be smooth, although this is usually not the case. It is uncertain whether Squarespace will increase prices or promote its website-building services after the 12-month period of honoring renewal rates.
Nevertheless, this acquisition presents a significant business opportunity for Squarespace. According to the company’s announcement, it will be the exclusive domain marketplace for individuals seeking a domain with a minimum three-year subscription to Google Workspace. Squarespace, known for its website-building platform, also offers domain name registration services. For current Google Domains customers, no immediate action is required. Squarespace allows users to transfer their website to its platform and move their custom domain from one site to another, as long as it is hosted on Squarespace servers.
Regrettably, it’s not uncommon to see major spoilers for video game storylines circulating online just before the game’s release. A similar incident occurred in late October 2022 when Sony alerted “God of War” fans about significant “Ragnarok” spoilers making their rounds online. Despite Sony’s attempts to contain the leaks, once something is released on the internet, it’s nearly impossible to retract. In that particular case, it was discovered that a retailer had started selling physical copies of the game a few weeks before its official launch date. As a result, it’s highly likely that “Final Fantasy 16” leaks may also surface before its release.
Currently, “Final Fantasy 16” can be preordered from the game’s official website, the PlayStation Store, and Amazon. Initially, the game will only be available on the PS5 as a timed exclusive, but it will eventually become available on other platforms for those who prefer to wait. According to one of the teaser trailers, the game will launch on platforms other than the PS5 on December 31, 2023.
The LG C2, despite being succeeded by the C3, is still considered the better option. While the C3 offers slightly higher brightness and a newer interface, it is significantly more expensive, priced at $1,899. On the other hand, the C2 can often be found at a discount of around $600, making it a more affordable choice. Both models use the same panel, so there are no hardware upgrades with the newer version. The C2 delivers top-tier image quality, 120Hz VRR, and LG’s Game Optimizer, all packaged in a minimalist design suitable for any space.
The LG C2 features the α9 Gen 5 processor, which enhances the sharpness of lower-resolution content with 4K upscaling. It also supports Dolby Atmos for a more immersive sound experience. LG’s proprietary smart TV OS offers seamless integration with various streaming platforms, including Apple TV, Disney+, Netflix, and Hulu. There are few drawbacks to the C2, especially considering its current discounted price. As of now, you can find it on Amazon for just under $1,299.
The Genesis Electrified GV70 is an exceptional electric vehicle (EV) that unfortunately faces challenges in the American market. It is only available for purchase at Genesis dealerships in 23 states due to supply shortages of vital EV components. However, if you manage to find one, it is definitely worth considering. With a powerful performance of 429 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, it can outpace some sports cars off the line. Additionally, the interior of the GV70 is luxurious and sophisticated, comparable to Genesis’ gas-powered models.
Interestingly, the GV70 is also available in its internal combustion engine (ICE) form, which explains the slightly awkward name of the Electrified GV70. At a glance, it can be challenging to differentiate the gas-powered GV70 from the EV version. The main distinguishing feature is the large faux grille on the electric car. Concealed within the grille is a discreet cover for the charging port.
The appeal of the Electrified GV70 lies not just in its electric powertrain but also in being a superb premium SUV. However, one downside is its range, which is 236 miles and considered average compared to other EVs in its class. Another major drawback is the limited availability, as the car cannot be purchased in over half of the country.

Nearly two years since launch, the Mahindra XUV700 has now arrived in Australia. It is available in two variants – AX7 and AX7L – priced at around Rs 20.72 lakh and Rs 22.41 lakh. This is lower than the prices in India. It also comes with a 7-year/1.5 lakh km warranty package.
Any Change In Powertrain Options?
The Australian-spec XUV700 is only available with the 2-litre turbo-petrol engine, producing 200PS and 380Nm. It is also only available with the 6-speed automatic transmission.
In India, the same engine can be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Indian XUV700 also offers a 2.2-litre diesel engine (up to 185PS/450Nm) with the same transmission options. The diesel engine is also available with an optional all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, but only in the top-spec AX7 and AX7L automatic variants.
The Australian-spec XUV700, available only in the top-spec AX7 range, comes loaded with features. It includes dual 10.25-inch displays (one for infotainment and one for instrumentation), dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, and a 12-speaker 3D sound system by Sony.
In terms of safety, it offers seven airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, reversing camera, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The ADAS suite includes adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and high-beam assist.
It is only available in the 7-seat layout and comes in five color options: Dazzling Silver, Electric Blue, Everest White, Midnight Black, and Red Rage.
In India, the XUV700 competes with the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Hyundai Alcazar. Mahindra offers it in two trim levels: MX and AX. The AX trim is further divided into three variants: AX3, AX5, and AX7. The Indian XUV700 can also be configured as a 5-seater. Prices range from Rs 14.01 lakh to Rs 26.18 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi).
The Maruti Invicto’s features list will include some new comfort, convenience and safety equipment borrowed from its premium partner
Until early 2022, most Maruti cars were lacking the modern tech offered by their competitors. This changed with the facelifted Maruti Baleno, which introduced some first-time features and was further improved with the Grand Vitara. Now, with the Toyota Innova Hycross-based Maruti Invicto launching on July 5, we have compiled a list of the 10 features that will debut for the marque:
A 10-inch Touchscreen
The Invicto will come with a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, an upgrade from the current 7-inch unit.
Powered Driver Seat With Memory
The Invicto will feature an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat with memory function, similar to the Toyota Innova Hycross.
The Invicto will offer ottoman seats in the captain seat specification, providing increased legroom and reclining options.
18-inch Alloy Wheels
The Invicto will come with 18-inch alloy wheels, the largest offered by Maruti from the factory.
Electronic Parking Brake
The Invicto will introduce an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, providing convenience during city driving.
Powered Tailgate
The Invicto will feature a powered tailgate, adding convenience to the lineup.
ADAS
The Invicto will debut with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, and lane keep assist.
The Invicto will come with USB Type-C charging ports and rear sunshades as additional convenience features.
Note: While these features are provided from the factory in the case of the Toyota Innova Hycross and the Maruti Invicto, they can also be added as aftermarket accessories.

Over the years, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) have become common in modern cars, and they have also made their way into the world of two-wheeled vehicles. Radar-assisted cruise control and blind spot detection systems are now being incorporated into flagship adventure and sport touring motorcycles.
OEMs like Ducati, BMW, and Yamaha are collaborating with established companies such as Bosch and Continental to develop these systems and address placement issues for the components.
The Chinese Patent Office recently published a patent application filed by Kymco, a major Taiwanese OEM known for its scooters but also involved in motorcycle and electric vehicle development.
In the patent, Kymco explores the placement of rear-facing radar units in various potential motorbike designs. Among the drawings are configurations that resemble a café racer design and an adventure bike.
Kymco’s design goals for these configurations include protecting the radar unit from the weather and other obstructions, such as rain, mud, and snow. The unit is positioned between the taillight unit and the license plate unit, set back to offer some shelter from the elements. This design also aims to deter theft by integrating the radar unit into the rear portion of the motorbike.
These patent drawings indicate that Kymco is planning ahead for future motorbike models. Considering their partnership with LiveWire for the production of lightweight electric motorbikes, it is possible that the unseen tail configurations could be part of upcoming LiveWire models.
However, this speculation is purely based on the patent filing and partnership, and there is no concrete evidence to confirm or deny these assumptions. It is common for people to connect dots and create their own narratives, even when there is limited information available.

Cody Webb, America’s top talent in Extreme enduro, recently competed in the 2023 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo. After enduring injuries that interrupted his quest to reach the top step of the podium, Webb returned to the Iron Giant in good health and finished 10th. In a post-race interview with DB’s Travis Fant, he discussed his preparation, travel challenges, and his performance at the event.

DB: Cody, your usual training is already intense, but is there anything specific you do to prepare for a race like Erzberg?
CODY WEBB: “It’s obviously different from any other race. It is the hardest one-day race in the world. I really try to focus on challenging terrains like old pilings or big messed up rock gardens. I want to test myself without relying on a pre-built line. I have to admit, it has been a while since I last finished the race with a strong effort. Some of the sections can be scary.”
DB: Talk about the challenges of traveling as an American and dealing with time changes and jet lag for an event like Erzberg.
WEBB: “Yeah, traveling that far is definitely not easy. Being a family man now, it’s harder to leave than before. As soon as I arrived there, I tried to adjust as quickly as possible. You have to force yourself to acclimate. This year was different because they made it illegal to walk the course before the race. It’s strange because the mine there offers tours, and almost every top rider was there practicing on sections of the course. It definitely pays off to have that extra time to familiarize yourself with the event. Unfortunately, I didn’t have that luxury this year due to my racing schedule in the States.”

DB: Your teammate Cooper Abbott joined you. Did you provide any advice to your first-timer teammate?
WEBB: “I tried to give him a heads up. I told him to be cautious and brace himself for the rocks and roost coming out of the mine. This place has the worst roost, small rocks that leave welts on your body. I advised Cooper to focus on making it out of the first hills going out of the mine, as losing ground there can be costly. I also warned him about one of the scariest downhills, Carls diner. I told him to start slow to avoid any mishaps at the bottom.”
DB: How do you maintain a decent pace throughout such a long race without exhausting yourself early on?
WEBB: “This year was different for me because I wasn’t battling for the lead like in previous years. Hence, I didn’t experience the crazy arm pump and had to stop to let it subside. I started the race at a more relaxed pace and gradually positioned myself well. However, there are always unexpected scenarios. Early on, I was around 6th place behind Johnny Walker, but I got stuck with Andrea Verona, and other riders started passing me. I panicked a bit and lost some valuable positions. Considering my recent injuries, my ultimate goal was to finish the race. So, I played it smart, conserved energy in the beginning, took fewer risks, and had enough left in the tank towards the end to secure a good position.”
DB: You were the top American to finish. It’s quite a statement, considering your injuries and the fact that you conserved energy in some sections.
WEBB: “In the past, I’ve finished on the podium, but now I know where I stand. I can compete with all the guys in the top 10. If things go right, I can make it happen. Last year, around the same time, I had a wrist injury, the same one Phil Nicoletti had. I wasn’t even sure if I would race professionally again. I took some anti-inflammatory medication before the race to manage the pain. After Carls diner, the painkillers started wearing off, and I just needed to push through. I know I’m not at 100%, but I’m doing my best to prolong my career.”

DB: You often ride the two-stroke. Is it an advantage at Erzberg, and would you ever consider racing on a four-stroke?
WEBB: “Erzberg would definitely be challenging on a four-stroke. A four-stroke feels heavier at the front end, especially on a downhill like Carls diner. The weights of two-strokes and four-strokes are similar now, but their feel is very different. In rock gardens, which are abundant in the early stages of the race, a four-stroke might perform better. However, in later stages like Motorex Highway, a two-stroke would be more suitable. I’ve ridden the SE300 for fun in hard enduro events, and the heat coming off a four-stroke is intense. The clutches get hotter, and the bike overall runs much hotter. At Carls diner, the sun beats down on you, and the hot air from the bike’s fan blows on you. Riding a two-stroke in such conditions makes a notable difference since the bike doesn’t run as hot. Plus, if something goes wrong, you can still ride a “blown-up” two-stroke to some extent. It’s harder to destroy a two-stroke and get stranded compared to a four-stroke.”
DB: Are there any specific adjustments you make to your bike for a race like Erzberg?
WEBB: “In this race, there’s a different format compared to the US hard enduro series. Since it’s part of the FIM, no outside assistance is allowed whatsoever. At the pits, we weren’t even allowed to get anything. We had to run levers inside the air-box, zip-tied a shifter inside the frame, and carried minimal tools on the bike just in case. I wasn’t even allowed to swap my USWE water pack, although I could replace the bladder. They are extremely strict about no outside assistance at Erzberg. It’s truly a man-and-machine challenge.”
DB: We follow you on Instagram and have had the privilege of filming with you in NorCal. We’ve seen you tackle tough rides alone. Are these experiences preparing you mentally for events like Erzberg?
WEBB: Cody laughs, “Yeah, definitely. I always ride with a backpack and snacks because you never know what could happen out there, and I don’t want to be stranded overnight. Erzberg is incredible. There are sections on the course that I wouldn’t usually practice alone due to the risks involved. Yet, during the race, I have to face them on my own.”
DB: Now that Erzberg is behind you, what’s next on your agenda?
WEBB: “I’m looking forward to the final round of the US Hard Enduro series in two weeks. It’s one of our best races at a ski resort. After that, I’ll start preparing for the EnduroCross series and see what I can achieve there!”

The BMW i5 has plenty to offer luxury car buyers, but with all the positive buzz surrounding it, some drawbacks could still be improved. Before you buy BMW i5 electric sedan, here are the pros and cons you need to consider before taking your sedan for a spin.

The BMW i5 electric sedan comes with two drivetrains – the eDrive 40, which offers 335 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. On the other hand, the M60 xDrive ups the power to 590 horsepower and 586 pound-feet, granting you access to unprecedented speed and agility compared to other EVs.
No matter which powertrain you choose, one thing is for certain—the 2024 BMW i5 is extremely efficient. Each version offers Sport Boost mode that unlocks extra torque for short bursts of speed and acceleration. If performance is your priority, then the M60 xDrive model should pique your interest. M60 xDrive owners will benefit from a Sport Boost Mode, which temporarily boosts up to 605 pound-feet torque. This setup gives the BMW i5 electric supercar high acceleration levels with just the push of a button. Plus, with advanced active roll stabilization, rear steering design, and efficient brakes, the i5 ups the ante for cornering and handling. The i5 BMW can achieve a good range of up to 295 miles on a single charge for the eDrive40 model and 256 miles for the M60 xDrive. This amount of impressive range means fewer trips to the charging station. On top of that, drivers will benefit from fast-charging technology. The i5 can recharge 10–80 percent in 30 minutes thanks to its 11 kW Level 2 AC plugs and 205 kW Level 3 DC fast chargers.

Unlike its competitors, the car appears surprisingly discreet while retaining a hint of luxury to remind people of its presence. There’s something timelessly appealing, perhaps influenced by the iconic three-series at play. The large panoramic roof is particularly appealing, which reveals almost the entire surface. Featuring BMW Operating System 8.5, the Curved Display provides an integrated 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster plus a 14.9-inch infotainment display screen in one pane of glass, collectively working together seamlessly, providing an intuitive and user-friendly experience. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto also make support connectivity possible, wireless device charging ensures you’ll have power when needed, and gesture controls give you innovative options to interact with your car. Heated seats and ambient lighting provide an extra touch of luxury in the BMW i5.
Furthermore, the Harman Kardon sound system ensures riders can be immersed in various soundscapes, from roaring pulses to vivid fluxes, for added enjoyment during each drive. Moreover, safety comes first on the list of priorities, and the BMW i5 electric sedan does not disappoint. It Isn’t Cheap In The Top-of-the-line Performance Spec

Even though BMW i5 price tag is decent, shelling out $67,795 for the eDrive40 model or $86,095 for the AWD M60 xDrive variant may be too pricey for some. This BMW i5 price isn’t exactly pocket change unless you’ve got rather deep pockets, and it makes the car a less desirable purchase option for those looking within mid-range budgets. Factor in regular maintenance, such as brake pads and tires, and reduced resale value due to diminishing battery capacity over time, and things start to add up quickly. Moreover, adding optional upgrades and packages will push the price to more steep levels. As mentioned, the BMW i5 offers pretty good range capability, but compared to its competitors, the Air, it seems to come out short. Tesla’s Model 3 has a higher range rating of 333 miles, and the Lucid Air easily surpasses 400 miles with an estimated range of 406 miles. While these numbers might not make too much difference to everyday commuters, it’s worth noting for those frequent long-distance travelers as it may be a turn-off to them. Alongside range, the maximum charge rate must be considered part of quick road trip planning.
While the i5 reaches its peak rate of 205 kW relatively quickly, it falls behind other rivals, such as the Lucid Air rate of 300 kW (the second-fastest charging EV on the market). Although the infotainment inside the i5 is aesthetically pleasing and feature-rich, it struggles with usability issues because of its overly complex user interface. Without tactile buttons and knobs, the user interface becomes overly dependent on large touchscreen controls. The simultaneous use of haptic feedback and touchscreen technology can become overwhelmingly complex in day-to-day use. Though it’s worth lauding the automaker’s efforts to keep the car modern, BMW may need to rethink how this setup fairs in success later. Operating the navigation, audio, and climate settings simultaneously requires too much effort and thought– something less tech-savvy customers may struggle with. Fans of wagons will, unfortunately, remain curious until BMW decides to bring this popular body style back to American shores. Only overseas markets get to rock with the stylish high-roofed station wagon variant.
