BMW Motorrad introduces Vario luggage system for the BMW R 1300 GS

In Munich, BMW Motorrad has unveiled the Vario luggage system for the BMW R 1300 GS, providing an advanced and innovative solution for extended tours and long-distance trips with ample storage space.

The design of the Vario cases and top case has been completely redesigned, featuring anodized aluminum trims on the outside for durability and a seamless integration with the new BMW R 1300 GS. The Vario luggage system also offers several new features to enhance convenience and functionality.

One notable highlight is the integration of charging capabilities within the left Vario case, allowing riders to charge electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, or laptops while on the go. A USB-A charging port is provided with a charging power of up to 15W, and there is an additional USB-A port in the top case. Furthermore, the Vario cases and top case now come with integrated lighting to facilitate loading and unloading in low light conditions.

Another significant addition is the integration of the Vario luggage system into the standard radio central locking system of the BMW R 1300 GS. Mechanical keys are also included for manual operation of the cases in case of emergency.

The volume adjustment of the Vario cases and top case can now be infinitely adjusted using a handwheel, allowing riders to optimize storage space based on their specific needs. In total, the Vario luggage system offers up to 97 liters of capacity, with the option to expand the Vario cases by an additional 5.5 liters each and the top case by up to 36 liters.

Additional luggage can be stored on the outside of the Vario cases and top case using practical lashing eyes. The Vario luggage system can accommodate the BMW Helmet 7 in the Vario cases and the BMW Helmet GS in the top case. The maximum load per Vario case is 10 kg per side, with a maximum load of 6 kg for the top case.

For added convenience, BMW Motorrad offers Vario inner bags as original accessories for the Vario cases and top case. These inner bags provide additional organization and protection for belongings and come in different volumes to suit individual preferences.

The maximum permissible speed for riding with the Vario luggage system is 180 km/h. It should be noted that the Vario luggage system is designed exclusively for the BMW R 1300 GS and is not suitable for previous models.

How To Program A GE Universal Remote (Even Without Codes)

Connecting a GE universal remote to a device is a simple and universal process among all remote models if you know the device’s code. The first step in locating the code is to note the vendor code that is found under the battery compartment of your remote. It is a three-character code that starts with CL followed by a number. With that in hand, you can find the code for your device in your controller’s included Code List or by searching an online database such as Universalremotereviews’ page. The code will be listed under your device’s manufacturer and controller vendor code. There may be multiple codes, so note all the ones you find for your device. Once you have everything, here’s how to continue.

  1. Hold down the Setup button on the controller until the red indicator light illuminates, then let go.
  2. Locate the device button on the controller corresponding to the device you want to connect. The options will be TV, CBL, DVD, and AUX. Press down the one you need, and the red light will blink once.
  3. Input the four-digit code for your device using the number pad on the remote.

Check to see if the device is set up correctly. If it is not, repeat the process using one of the other codes listed for your device if there were multiple.

What We Know About the Leaked New Xbox Series X Console

Recently, there has been a leak revealing some interesting details about the new Xbox Series X console. One of the most exciting findings is the introduction of the Xbox Universal Controller. Microsoft plans to make it the centerpiece of its gaming brand, allowing it to be used across various devices. While it bears a resemblance to the current controllers, there are a few notable changes.

The first noticeable difference is the two-tone design, which sets it apart from the standard design available now. It will also come with built-in support for Xbox Wireless 2 and Bluetooth 5.2. Additionally, the leaked documents indicate that the Xbox Universal Controller will feature haptic feedback, similar to the PlayStation 5’s DualSense controller. It will also have modular thumbsticks for customization and a rechargeable battery pack.

The controller will have an accelerometer, allowing it to detect movement and turn on automatically when picked up. Moreover, its modular design aims to make repair and disassembly easier, making it a more durable controller. Furthermore, a dedicated app will provide users with a simple way to pair and sync the accessory with multiple devices.

Razer Kishi V2 Pro Controller For Android Arrives With Xbox Variant

Razer has introduced the Kishi V2 Pro Controller for Android, which comes with an Xbox variant. The controller boasts universal compatibility for phones of all sizes, thanks to its extendable bridge feature. It also includes passthrough charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack, which makes sense considering its connection to the phone is through the USB or Lightning port.

The Xbox Edition version of the controller is specifically designed for subscribers of Xbox Game Pass. This is because Microsoft’s cloud-based game streaming platform enables users to play major titles on less capable devices, like smartphones.

Prior to this release, the Pro version of the Kishi controller was only available with the Razer Edge, which is the company’s handheld gaming console similar to the Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch.

The Android version of the Xbox Edition controller is priced at $149.99, while the iPhone version is listed at $119.99. The non-Xbox version of the Pro controller for Android, which does not feature the Xbox button, is $20 cheaper.

Having trouble connecting your Android phone to your computer? Here’s how to fix it

When it comes to technical support, there is a piece of advice that is almost always given: restart or reboot your device. This holds true for situations where your computer fails to detect your phone after connecting via USB. Rebooting is beneficial because it clears out your system memory, providing a fresh start. To troubleshoot this issue, it is recommended to restart both your phone and your computer.

To restart an Android device, press and hold the power button until the power menu appears. Depending on your phone, you can either tap or swipe “Restart.” On Windows, simply click the power icon on the Taskbar and select “Restart.” For macOS, click the Apple logo icon on the top-left corner of your screen and choose “Restart…” from the menu that appears.
