The first thing you should do to determine if your lack of TikTok access is your problem is to check if your broadband is working elsewhere. Can you connect to the internet on your computer, smartphone, tablet, game console, or any other device? If you can’t connect, even after disconnecting and reconnecting in the settings, you should investigate the issue with your router.

If your router has a reset button (like many Xfinity routers with their confusing orange lights), press and hold it until the router reboots. If your router doesn’t have a reset button, you can try the old method of turning it off, waiting for a minute, and then turning it back on. You can also try using mobile data to see if it’s your connection or the app causing the problem.

Of course, if you’re away from home and using a different connection, these steps won’t apply. But if you’ve tried these troubleshooting steps and still can’t get online, it’s likely that there’s an issue with your network. It’s a good idea to check for any notifications from your service provider about a wider outage, or contact them directly for assistance.

Elli at IAA 2023: Showcasing Elli’s new e-mobility products, and future projects

In addition, Elli will unveil its future plans and give a glimpse into upcoming advancements in energy innovation and its transition towards offering comprehensive energy solutions.

At the heart of Elli’s presentation at IAA is the Flexpole. This fast charging station, equipped with an integrated battery storage system, is easy to install and flexible. It can be connected to a low-voltage grid without the need for a special transformer or expensive construction work. The Flexpole features two connectors that can deliver fast-charging speeds of up to 150 kW, allowing for a range of up to 160 km to be achieved within just 10 minutes, depending on the vehicle.

“With the new Flexpole and our expanding charging network, which now consists of over 540,000 charge points, we are driving the expansion of e-mobility quickly and reliably. Elli is already one of Europe’s largest e-mobility service providers. However, we understand that customers are not only interested in quantity. That’s why we are dedicated to focusing on delivering a holistic charging experience,” explains Giovanni Palazzo, CEO of Elli, during the event in Munich.

UPS Drivers to Finally Have Air Conditioning in Delivery Trucks

United Parcel Service (UPS), one of the world’s largest shipping companies, has announced that it will provide air conditioning in its delivery trucks. This decision comes after discussions with team leaders to address the needs of workers on the road.

However, not all UPS delivery trucks will have air conditioning. The agreement with the Teamsters, the labor union representing UPS employees, states that all newly purchased small package delivery vehicles in the United States will come with air conditioning starting from January 1st of next year. These new vehicles will be allocated to the hottest regions of the country where it is feasible.

For the remaining vehicles without air conditioning, UPS plans to install cabin fans within 30 days of contract ratification, and an additional fan by June 1st of next year. In addition, the company will also install exhaust heat shields to minimize heat conduction from the engine into the floor of the vehicle, which is expected to lower the cabin temperature by up to 17 degrees Fahrenheit.

Another measure agreed upon by UPS and the Teamsters is the addition of a forced-air induction system to bring fresh air from the front of the vehicle into the cargo area. This feature will be included in the production of new delivery vehicles and retrofitted to existing vehicles within 18 months of contract ratification.

UPS expressed their commitment to employee safety and comfort, stating, “We have always remained open to solutions that keep our employees safe on hot days…the new solutions we’ve agreed to will improve airflow, temperature, and comfort for our employees.”

The original Austrian Pinzgauer served for almost four decades as a highly regarded Light Utility Vehicle (LUV). However, due to declining sales, it was discontinued in 2008. In search of a worthy replacement, the Pinzgauer II was introduced. This new generation vehicle offers enhanced features such as a larger size, increased capacity, better mobility, higher payload, and improved overall performance.

A notable improvement in the Pinzgauer II is its six-wheel, 6×6 configuration, compared to the original’s four-wheel design. With a cargo capacity of 3.8 tons, the Pinzgauer II can accommodate 14 troops along with their equipment and is capable of towing trailers or artillery if required. Furthermore, the range can be doubled with an additional fuel tank, making it one of the most versatile LUVs on this list.

Despite its larger size, the Pinzgauer II can still be transported using Hercules aircraft or Chinook directly to combat zones. It serves various roles in these zones, including ambulance services, reconnaissance missions, tactical operations, and communications tasks. While it can be configured with heavy armor, the primary focus of the Pinzgauer II is utility rather than carrying defensive armaments. Nonetheless, it performs exceptionally well in terms of performance, practicality, and aesthetic appeal.
