Some corporations, although, they select to take issues a little bit bit additional. According to electrical enduro bike maker Stark Future, it needed to do one thing additional cool for its staff in 2023.

While highway riders do not often have a necessity for a small hand axe on rides, that is not the case with enduro riders. Out within the woods, you by no means know when you are going to come throughout downed timber and branches that should be moved out of the best way. Sometimes they’re sufficiently small to shift by yourself, however in different circumstances, an axe might are available in very useful to chop them all the way down to measurement.

Nothing Reminds You Family Is Forever Like This Fast And Furious BBQ Yule Log

Tired of hanging out along with your boring household this vacation season? Want to spend time with automobile nuts who actually get you as a substitute? The Fast Saga has simply the factor: A Yule Log fire primarily based on the barbecue meal from the unique movie.

Every winter the web appears to give you new and distinctive methods to current the Yule Log, a digital fire meant to take a seat on the TV for hours on finish for many who haven’t got the power to burn wooden of their properties. But this one from the Fast & Furious YouTube channel takes the cake.

The hour-long clip begins out with the enduring scene from the very first Fast movie exhibiting the unique forged gathering round a yard desk as Dominic Toretto grills up some delicious-looking rooster. A mere 15 seconds in, the video cuts to a nonetheless shot of the grill crackling away, pouring smoke and emulating the sounds you’d get from any Yule Log video.

What follows is a strong hour of burning rooster, with completely zero oversight into who’s minding the grill or checking to see if the meals’s been over-cooked. Every couple of minutes the peaceable fire noises are interrupted from quotes from the movie.

“Money’ll come and go, we know that,” Torretto says about 55 seconds in, presumably simply past the digital camera’s gaze. “The most important thing in life will always be the people in this room, right here, right now.”

“You’ve heard me say never turn your back on family.” Torretto says roughly midway via the hour-long video. “And I wanna thank you all for never turning your back on me.”

Watch This Tesla Cybertruck Stuck In Snow Get Saved By Two Ford Pickups

Obtaining a Christmas tree might be one of the enojoyable vacation actions you are able to do. The driver of this Tesla Cybertruck appears to have wished in on the enjoyable, however bought caught in a snowy area on the way in which out. Ironically, it was a pair of gas-powered Ford pickup vans that needed to come to the rescue.

This scene occurred on the Corral Hollow OHV Trail, which is a 13.9-mile route close to Kit Carson, California, that goes via the Stanislaus National Forest. It’s a “moderately challenging route,” based on All Trails. The movies beneath present a Cybertruck struggling to get out of a muddy rut, earlier than reducing to the stainless-steel-bodied truck again on the street, linked by way of rope to a Ford Super Duty.

The distinguished “RC” on the facet of this Cybertruck identifies this as a Release Candidate model of the pickup. This is Tesla’s fancy manner of naming a pre-production mannequin, so it is doable this truck did not have all the capabilities you’d see on a manufacturing mannequin.

The Instagram put up exhibits the truck has “no lockers due to software issues,” However, the clip does not verify this as a result of we solely see the passenger-side entrance wheel spinning. The production-spec Cybertruck is on the market with a locking differential at the nose. The torque-vectoring twin motors on the again imply a standard differential is not essential again there.

Matt Chambers, who posted the video to Instagram (above), instructed Motor1 that the Tesla driver was doing winter testing. A software program drawback triggered the traction management to not work.

This Cybertruck additionally did not have restoration factors and “needed to be gently pulled by suspension components,” Chambers stated. However, the production-spec Tesla pickup has hooks on each side of the lower fascia.

While it is not talked about within the Instagram put up, the second video supplies a good view of the Tesla’s tires, which seem like all-season rubber. They’ve bought some tread however not sufficient for these circumstances. Given the uphill grade and slippery snow, the Cybertruck’s off-road tech is not going to assist if the tires cannot get a grip on the bottom.

Judging from the dust seen initially of the primary video, the Cybertruck driver spent some time spinning the pickup’s tires earlier than the opposite drivers got here to the rescue. He additionally went fairly far off the path.

This looks as if extra of a case of an over-confident Cybertruck driver than a problem with the Tesla. With the improper tires, even the Ford Super Duty that was rescuing the Tesla may need issues if the scenario had been reversed.

Ford Taurus, Dodge Caravan Live Again In 1995 Detroit Auto Show Retro Video

As folks in the United States enjoy a long holiday weekend, consider for a moment what the world was like almost 29 years ago as this MotorWeek retro video returns us to the 1995 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. It opened to the public on January 7, promising a glimpse into the future of motoring.

Simmer on that thought as we give you a quick summary of what was happening in Motown back then. The 1996 Ford Taurus debuted in all its jellybean glory, featuring more curves and oval shapes than a full season of NASCAR. It was as bold a design move as the first-generation Taurus was a decade prior, but with the benefit of hindsight, we know the risk did not pay off. A quick facelift for 2000 couldn’t help the former best-selling sedan, and a second update in 2004 merely prolonged its suffering. The nameplate was awkwardly revived in 2009 as part of the Ford Five Hundred’s facelift, but alas, the Taurus never reclaimed its former glory.

1996 Ford Taurus
1997 Dodge Caravan

That was arguably the big debut for the show, but it wasn’t the only reveal by far. A new-generation Dodge Caravan flew into the show, and we mean that literally. Dodge had quite the display set up for the minivan, which boasted new styling and rear seats that were easily removable – a big deal for the day. It was joined by upscale Plymouth Voyager and Chrysler Town & Country variants, none of which exist today. There was at least one accurate prediction for the future, however. General Motors launched four-door versions of the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon SUVs.

What about concepts? Some might call the ’90s a golden age for such vehicles, where even a minivan could get some cool cred. Ford’s SHOstar concept plugged the epic 220-horsepower Yamaha-sourced 3.0-liter V6 from the Taurus SHO under the hood of a Windstar. It never entered production, but the front-wheel-drive van did get a SHO-like intake manifold for its 3.8-liter V6, making 200 hp from 1996 through 1998.

1995 Ford SHO-Star Concept

The big concept news for 1995, however, was undoubtedly the Ford GT90. We recently waxed poetic about this car, packing a big V12 with edgy styling that pointed towards the future. The actual Ford GT we got a few years later didn’t have a V12, nor did it have much in the way of sharp lines. But other FoMoCo machines did get sharper. The SN95 Ford Mustang facelift in 1999 even garnered the name New Edge. Other Ford concepts included the two-seat Lincoln L2K and the Triton pickup, the latter of which was a thinly veiled preview of the 10th-generation F-150.

The Blue Oval certainly had a big presence in Detroit, but there was much more happening at the show. Oldsmobile showcased its updated Bravada SUV and the Antares concept, a snazzy sedan that lent its influence to the 1997 Oldsmobile Intrigue. Acura yanked the roof off the first-generation NSX and previewed the CL with the CL-X concept. The Plymouth Backpack concept looked like a weird Suzuki X90. The Eagle Jazz was a sleek sedan concept that never came to fruition, nor did the 1930s-themed Chrysler Atlantic.
