Red Bull Racing design chief Adrian Newey, whose automobiles have dominated Formula 1 for many years, is about to depart the workforce, in line with experiences.

German title Auto Motor und Sport first reported that the 65-year-old has knowledgeable Red Bull chiefs of his plan to depart Milton Keynes on the finish of the yr.

The BBC says it has confirmed these experiences with sources on the workforce.

The experiences recommend Newey’s choice is linked to the controversial scenario surrounding misconduct allegations in opposition to workforce chief Christian Horner.

Earlier this yr, an investigation cleared Horner of any wrongdoing, though the complainant has since appealed that call.

The scenario with Horner is alleged to have sparked an influence battle inside Red Bull that has left Newey sad.
