Honda Elevate ZX Variant Analysis: Should You Go All Out For The Top Variant?

It is your only option if you want your Honda Elevate to have a 10.25-inch touchscreen, six airbags and ADAS

Honda Elevate

The Honda Elevate’s top-spec ZX trim, albeit visually similar to the second-from-top VX, gets all the bells and whistles the SUV has to offer. Given that it misses out on many premium comforts offered by many segment rivals, this is one of the most affordable and feature-packed top variants among them. It is also your only variant of choice if you want your Honda SUV to be finished in a dual-paint option. Let’s see if it’s worth stretching your budget:

Why Consider The Elevate ZX?

If you are someone who enjoys a fully loaded car and wants a premium experience throughout with the Honda Elevate, the ZX is your only pick. It offers a better interior, increased comfort and convenience, more technology, and a safer package. It comes with leatherette upholstery and soft touch materials, a brown-black cabin theme, a 10.25-inch touchscreen system, six airbags and even advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). All of it can be had for a premium of under Rs 1.5 lakh over the VX trim. Also, not to forget, if you want the SUV to be finished in a dual-tone exterior colour, the ZX CVT is your only option, commanding a premium of Rs 28,000 over the ZX MT variant.

What Could Have Been Better About The Elevate ZX?

With the Honda Elevate being late to the compact SUV segment, the top-spec ZX variant – although packing a lot of functional and safety features – lacks some feel-good features when compared to rivals. These include a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, and ventilated front seats. It’s also on the backfoot when it comes to the powertrain options on offer as Honda has chosen to not offer it with either diesel and strong-hybrid powertrains, which in our books, is a missed opportunity in this segment.

Verdict

SV

The variant of our choice if you wish to buy the petrol-MT option. Accessorise it and skip upgrading to V variant.

V

Only pick if you want the Elevate with an automatic gearbox on a budget. Else, go to the next variant.

VX

Gets a lot more tech at a justifiable premium. Can be skipped if you want the full premium Honda experience.

ZX

Pick it for a better cabin experience, more tech, safety features and dual-tone paint option.
