AIM EV Sport 01 Concept Detailed, Will Drive Up The Goodwood Hill

The AIM EV Sport 01 is a new all-electric sports car concept that will be showcased at the Goodwood Festival of Speed later this month. AIM, a Japanese engineering company founded in 1998, specializes in automotive design and technology.

This will be AIM’s first-ever concept vehicle, and it has received positive feedback since its initial unveiling in April in Japan. AIM is currently testing and evaluating the vehicle, with potential plans for a limited series production run.

The EV Sport 01 features a dual-motor, rear-wheel-drive configuration with two APM200 electric motors producing a combined 483 horsepower and a maximum torque of 545 pound-feet. The motors are controlled by an advanced torque vectoring system, and the inverter has an input rating of 720V and an output of 380 kW.

With a curb weight of just 3,141 pounds, the two-seat coupe is relatively lightweight. It is powered by a laminate rechargeable lithium battery with a capacity of 81 kilowatt-hours, allowing for an estimated driving range of 186 miles. Although AIM has not provided specific performance details, the car’s low weight, aerodynamic shape, and decent power suggest it will offer respectable performance.

The AIM EV Sport 01 has a length of 153.5 inches, making it comparable to a subcompact car. However, it is wider at 74.8 inches and lower at 47.2 inches. The car features a multi-tubular aluminum frame chassis and a double-wishbone front and rear suspension system.

The body panels are constructed from a carbon fiber laminate structure, and the interior is made entirely of carbon fiber. The EV Sport 01 Concept rides on 20-inch wheels with 235/35 ZR20 tires at the front and 275/30 ZR20 rear tires.

The design of the AIM EV Sport 01 was led by SN Design Platform, a company headed by Shiro Nakamura, the former chief designer at Nissan. Nakamura aimed to create a car that embodies the spirit of great sports cars from the past, with a simple, clean design that exudes dynamism and elegance.

The AIM EV Sport 01 will be making timed runs at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which takes place from July 13-16. It will be part of the “First Glance” category, showcasing the future of automotive design and technology.

2024 Ford Explorer Revealed in New Spy Photos Without Camouflage

A refreshed version of the Ford Explorer is on its way, and recent spy photos give us a glimpse of the new model without any camouflage. This unofficial debut of the 2024 Explorer is a big reveal ahead of its official introduction.

So, what can we see in the photos? The new front design shouldn’t come as a surprise, as Ford introduced a new Explorer for the Chinese market last year with a similar grille. However, the grille on the 2024 Explorer is now larger and rectangular in shape. The headlights are slightly slimmer and positioned at the top. Interestingly, the lower part of the front fascia on this particular Explorer is different from its Chinese counterpart. It is believed to be specific to a certain trim level, possibly the ST-Line version, according to insider sources.

2024 BMW X2: Less camouflage spotted on M35 trim near Nurburgring

BMW has made significant progress on its upcoming X2 model. Although this isn’t the first time we have seen a prototype out in public, new spy photos reveal a clearer view of the crossover’s front end. The latest images showcase an M35i trim with some of its heavy camouflage removed.

One notable change can be seen in the front fascia. Previously, the lower vents were partially covered by hard covers, but they are now completely exposed. This reveals the angled sides of the lower openings, which curve inwards at the top, seamlessly aligning with the bottom corners of the grille. Additionally, slim vertically-oriented vents can be clearly seen on the sides of the fascia.

Tesla Cybertruck Wrapped In Camo Spotted In California

The camouflaged look of the Tesla Cybertruck has sparked speculation about new design features or a sneak peek at what to expect when the truck goes into production. Tesla had previously mentioned that customers would have the option to choose from a variety of colors, most likely in the form of a wrap. This black-and-white camo design seen in California could potentially be one of those options.

Since its announcement in 2019, Tesla has made several promises about its all-electric truck, but there have been numerous production delays. Originally scheduled for 2021, the release date had been pushed back to 2024 at one point. Currently, the Cybertruck is expected to be available for purchase later this year.

All versions of the rear-wheel and all-wheel models are projected to reach speeds of at least 110 mph and offer a battery range between 250 and 620 miles. The Cybertruck is designed to have 100 cubic feet of storage space, a 6.5-foot-long cargo area, and 16 inches of ground clearance. With a substantial market for light-duty trucks, Tesla’s fully electric version has the potential for great success, provided it lives up to the hype built over the years. While there is a chance of further production delays, if all goes as planned, we may start seeing Tesla Cybertrucks on the road by the end of this year, some of which may still be camouflaged.

The new and upcoming Fiat 600 has been spotted testing several times, but has remained heavily camouflaged to keep its design details under wraps. However, the latest video gives us a clear view of the car, showcasing its exterior and interior design.

Although the overall shape and aesthetics look familiar to the brand, the car features a newly adopted design ethos that exudes a stylish city runabout look. The Fiat 600 has round headlights that blend into the hood, along with semi-circular fog lights, which are reminiscent of the new 500.

From 20th April 2023, patrons of luxury will convene at Salon Privé, a highly exclusive Concours d’Élégance, in the grounds of Royal Chelsea Hospital, London. Each of these commissions is indicative of Rolls-Royce’s peerless fluency in Bespoke and demonstrates the extensive scope of the marque’s craft, design and engineering competencies.

ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM SERIES II

Last year, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars announced a new expression for Phantom and Phantom Extended — subtle, ‘light touch’ aesthetic enhancements to the world’s most luxurious motor car. The iconic Pantheon Grille has been further enhanced by a new polished horizontal line between the daytime running lights above the Pantheon Grille, giving the motor car a new assertive modernity. The headlights are graced with intricate laser-cut bezel starlights, creating a visual connection with the Starlight Headliner inside, and adding further surprise and delight to Phantom’s night-time presence.

Phantom Extended offers the indulgence of enhanced rear seating space with no compromise to Phantom’s driving dynamics. This motor car is an exquisite sanctuary, a heaven of serenity swathed in sumptuous design — a place where ideas flourish, greatest achievements are made and thoughts form. It is truly luxuriance expanded.

Following its global launch on the French Riviera last summer, Phantom Extended will make its UK public debut at this year’s Salon Privé in London; an exclusive Phantom Extended has been curated in recognition of this moment. Conveying the creativity, imagination and tradition that exists at the heart of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, a vibrant Belladonna Purple exterior is balanced by a Black leather interior with Grace White accents.

ROLLS-ROYCE GHOST

Launched in 2020 Rolls-Royce Ghost, is the latest iteration of the most successful product in the marque’s storied 119-year history.

The exterior’s clean and simple form provides the perfect, pure canvas for personal expression. This particular commission is finished in Sagano Green and an Arctic White single coachline elegantly completes the exterior. Inside, the Serenity Green leather on the secondary panels, seat piping, seat belts and indicator stalks, echoes the exterior hue. Spanning the fascia and topping the centre console between the front seats is Obsidian Ayous with a rich open-pore texture that introduces a natural aura to Ghost’s contemporary cabin.
