Check Out The Maruti Invicto Inside & Out Through These 20 Detailed Images

The Invicto comes in 4 monotone exterior shades and an all-black cabin with champagne gold inserts

Maruti Invicto

The Maruti Invicto is the carmaker’s entry into the truly premium category in terms of size, and features, and costs around Rs 30 lakh on-road. As a rebadged version of the Toyota Innova Hycross, the Invicto is very much like it, but it still has a host of differences to distinguish itself. It is only offered in two variants, both with the strong-hybrid powertrain rated at 186PS, and claims a fuel economy of over 23kmpl.

If you haven’t got a good look at the Maruti premium MPV yet, you can explore it through these 20 detailed images.

Exterior

Front

Maruti Invicto front

From the front, you can easily tell the Invicto apart from the Hycross. It gets a different grille with two chrome strips in the middle connecting the LED headlamps.

Positioning of the chrome elements is slightly different with the presence of a chrome strip at bottom of the bumper, and it gets tri-LED elements in the LED headlamps.

Side

Maruti Invicto side

From the sides, it looks just like the Toyota MPV with sharp character lines on the doors, and you can clearly see the length of the car from this angle.

Maruti Invicto 17-inch alloy wheels

The only noticeable difference on the side is the size of the alloy wheels. The Invicto gets smaller 17-inch alloys compared to the Toyota’s 18-inch alloys and that too of a different design.

Rear

Maruti Invicto rear

The design is more or less the same here. The Invicto carries a bold rear profile with an all-black bumper. It even has a roof-integrated spoiler that adds a sporty touch to the rear end of the MPV.

Here, it gets Nexa’s tri-LED design in the LED tail lamps and comes with a ‘Hybrid’ badge.

Maruti Invicto cabin

The Invicto gets an all-black cabin unlike the brown cabin of the Innova Hycross, but the layout remains unchanged. The most notable design element is the positioning of the drive-selector on the tall central console.

Maruti Invicto champagne-gold accents

The cabin also gets champagne-gold elements on the doors, centre console and AC vents.

The main attraction of the dashboard is the free-standing 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system above the central AC events. Below that you can find the dual-zone climate controls which also have the ventilated seat buttons on either end.

The Invicto gets a familiar instrument cluster with a 7-inch TFT display flanked by analogue dials for the fuel, engine temps and tachometer.

Maruti Invicto pop-out cup holder

A nice touch for the front passengers is that there are pop-out cup holders just below the air vents on either end of the dashboard. This also allows you to cool your drink using the air coming from the vents.

Third Row Seats

Maruti Invicto third row seats

The third row of the Invicto MPV can actually fit three, but it’s still more comfortable for just two. The outboard passengers also get cupholders and just like the second row, the third row also gets blower controls.

The Invicto is priced between Rs 24.79 lakh and Rs 28.42 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom) and is a direct rival to the Toyota Innova Hycross. The MPV is also a premium alternative to the Toyota Innova Crysta and Kia Carens.

Fortunately, gear manufacturers have been bridging the gap between gear and fashion, creating versatile pieces that cater to different styles. One such example is the Men 191 riding shirt from Fastway.

Fastway, a brand owned by German distributor Louis Moto, is known for its budget-friendly gear options. The Men 191 riding shirt features a classic lumberjack design that resembles a regular dress shirt rather than a motorcycle-specific garment.

Fastway Introduces The Men 191 Plaid Motorcycle Shirt

Despite its casual appearance, the Men 191 shirt is packed with protective features. It is made of a blend of polyester and aramid fibers, with aramid fibers making up 60% of its composition. Aramid fibers are known for being lightweight, breathable, and highly resistant to abrasions. The shirt also features safety seams certified ISO 4916 on impact points.

In terms of impact protection, the Men 191 comes with removable and height-adjustable Safe Tech level 1 protectors for the shoulders and elbows. Introducing Baja Designs’ Dual S1 Kit for Suzuki Dual-Sports

When it comes to adventure and dual-sport riding, having proper lighting is crucial, especially when navigating trails. It’s easy for time to slip away when you’re an avid adventurer. Before you know it, night falls, and the trail ahead becomes a daunting challenge. This is particularly true if you ride a dual-sport bike rather than a full-fledged adventure motorcycle.

Dual-sport bikes often come with mediocre lighting systems, typically using halogen headlights with limited visibility. While some dual-sports are equipped with LEDs, they still can’t compete with the advanced lighting systems found on today’s top adventure motorcycles. However, the aftermarket is here to save the day. If you ride a Suzuki DR650 or DR-Z400 and plan to hit the trails until exhaustion, you need to check out Baja Designs’ headlight kit.

Check Out Baja Designs' Dual S1 Kit For Suzuki Dual-Sports

Baja Designs, a well-established player in the off-road and dual-sport market, has developed the Dual S1 headlight kit specifically for Suzuki DR650 and DR-Z400 motorcycles of all generations. You can replace your stock headlight in just minutes with this plug-and-play setup.

The Dual S1 features a pair of Cree LED lights, each offering an impressive 2,320 lumens of output. One light serves as a spotlight, while the other has a wider field of view, ensuring excellent visibility of the trail even in the darkest conditions. Together, these lights emit a blinding 4,640 lumens combined. Keep in mind that you should check your local regulations to ensure this setup is street-legal.

New REV’IT! Kick Keeps You Safe And Stylish On The Street

When it comes to fashion, street-oriented riding gear often takes inspiration from the world of skating. This is especially true for shoes, pants, and jackets, where motorcycle-certified gear has a casual and laid-back style similar to skateboarding. Motorcycle sneakers, in particular, have a mid-cut design, a flat sole, and a lace-up closure.

However, it’s important to note that motorcycle sneakers are constructed to higher standards and come with necessary safety features for certification. Dutch motorcycle gear and equipment brand REV’IT! is known for its sporty gear for the street and track, as well as its touring and adventure-ready apparel. With the introduction of the REV’IT! Kick riding sneakers, the brand expands its range of street gear.

New REV'IT! Kick Keeps You Safe And Stylish On The Street

The REV’IT! Kick sneakers take design cues from skating shoes. From a distance, they may be mistaken for shoes from Vans’ collection. However, upon closer inspection, it’s evident that these casual shoes offer serious protection. The Kick features an oiled and waxed suede exterior, providing both street aesthetic and abrasion resistance. The interior boasts an OrthoLite X40 Hybrid insole made of recycled fibers.

The Kick’s heel and toe areas are reinforced for durability, while REV’IT!’s proprietary Seesoft protectors are inserted in the ankle and malleolus regions to prevent injuries in case of accidents. The sneakers have a standard lace-up closure with the laces conveniently tucked under the tongue to avoid entanglement with the bike’s controls. With these features, the REV’IT! Kick sneakers meet the PPE certification standards set by EN13634.

The REV’IT! Kick is available in two colors: black with a white sole and green with a khaki sole. Sizes range from 39 to 47, and the sneakers retail for 159.99 Euros, or approximately $175 USD.

Porsche 911 Reimagined By Singer is a 964 with 934/5 Style and 700 HP

Singer, known for their exceptional restoration and reimagining of the Porsche 911, has once again delivered with their latest project. The Dynamics & Lightweighting Study (DLS) – Turbo combines the beloved air-cooled 964 generation with the racing legacy of the Porsche 934/5 race car from the 1970s. The result is truly remarkable.

To understand the inspiration behind this masterpiece, we have to go back to the 1970s when Porsche was dominating the racing scene with their 911 Turbo. The 934 and 935 models were specifically built for FIA competition, but a hybrid version called the 934/5 was created for IMSA in 1977. This unique car was so impressive that it was soon banned by IMSA, leading Porsche to compete in SCCA events where the 934/5 continued its winning streak and even claimed the 1977 SCCA Trans Am championship.

Porsche 911 964 Dynamics & Lightweighting Study Track-Focused By Singer
The track-focused version of the Porsche 911 964 Dynamics & Lightweighting Study By Singer

The design of the new Singer creation pays homage to the bold and aggressive styling of the 934/5 race car. Carbon fiber bodywork, including wide fenders, rear intakes, NACA ducts, and an adjustable spoiler, captures the essence of the 935 portion of the 934/5. The track-focused version features an orange color and a massive splitter for maximum aerodynamic performance on the track. However, for those looking for a less aggressive option, Singer also offers a road-focused version with a classic ducktail spoiler and a more relaxed splitter.

Porsche 911 964 Dynamics & Lightweighting Study Road-Focused By Singer
The road-focused version of the Porsche 911 964 Dynamics & Lightweighting Study By Singer

Singer paid attention to every detail to capture the essence of the 1970s era. Black trim replaces the bright elements typically found on later Porsches, and the short 930-style hood adds to the authentic look of the car. The challenge for Singer was to merge the ’70s style with a ’90s 964 platform while incorporating elements of the 934/5 in two interchangeable configurations. According to Singer, developing the rear wing and front fascia for both the high-downforce track version and the low-drag road version was particularly challenging.

Under the hood, all versions of the 911 964 Dynamics & Lightweighting Study boast a Singer-designed 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine with air-to-water intercooling. This powerhouse is capable of producing over 700 horsepower and can rev beyond 9,000 RPM. It’s important to note that while Singer has partnered with a Porsche subsidiary to build engines, the DLS mills used in this project are still crafted by Nicholson McLaren Engines at Singer’s facility in the UK.

Overall, the Porsche 911 964 Dynamics & Lightweighting Study By Singer is a true work of art that combines vintage racing heritage with modern performance. Whether you choose the track-focused or road-focused version, you can expect an unparalleled driving experience.

Corvette E-Ray Behind-The-Scenes Video Reveals Elaborate Photo Shoot

# Corvette E-Ray Behind-The-Scenes Video Reveals Elaborate Photo Shoot

It’s no secret that automakers invest a significant amount of time and effort into capturing the perfect photos of their new cars. While some official launch photos may seem hastily done, in general, the process involves more than just finding a cool spot and snapping some pictures. The official Instagram account for the GM Design studios recently shared a behind-the-scenes look at Chevrolet’s photo shoot for the 2024 Corvette E-Ray, revealing the elaborate setup and attention to detail involved.

One of the locations for the shoot was a winding road through a forest during the day. But simply driving on a dry road wasn’t enough for the E-Ray. A truck was brought in to wet the surface with water, and a smoke machine was used to add atmosphere. The video footage shared on Instagram gives a glimpse into the actual shoot and showcases the resulting official images.

Another location for the shoot was at night, and while it doesn’t appear as elaborate as the daytime shoot, the road is clearly wet, suggesting the use of water to enhance the visuals.

It’s important to note that the Corvette E-Ray is a significant vehicle for Chevrolet. It is the first Corvette to feature an electrified powertrain and all-wheel drive, making it the fastest-accelerating model in the Corvette lineup. Given its significance, it comes as no surprise that extra attention was given to capturing stunning images of the E-Ray.

This behind-the-scenes look at the Corvette E-Ray photo shoot raises curiosity about what the next Corvette trim, rumored to be the ZR1, will bring. Based on aggressive-looking camouflaged prototypes and a leaked report, the ZR1 is expected to be the most powerful and fastest production Corvette to date, with up to 850 horsepower from a twin-turbocharged version of the 5.5-liter DOHC V8 engine.

In conclusion, the Corvette E-Ray photo shoot showcased the dedication of the GM Design studios and the meticulous effort put into capturing stunning images of this special Corvette variant. As we await the debut of the next Corvette trim, it’s exciting to anticipate the elaborate photo shoot that will accompany its introduction.
