The BMW M3 CS and M4 CSL are both exceptional when it comes to performance. BMW offers these models with either two or four doors, but there are some differences under the hood that affect their drag racing capabilities.

Both the M3 CS and M4 CSL are equipped with the same twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter S58 inline-six engine. These engines produce an impressive 550 horsepower and 479 pound-feet (650 Newton-meters) of torque for both models, and they are paired with BMW’s eight-speed automatic transmission.
