The Texas-based hypercar manufacturer, Hennessey, started as a tuning shop and later became a reputable brand with its custom-made model, the Venom F5. Currently, the company is focused on producing the Coupe, Roadster, and track-focused Revolution versions of the Venom F5. However, their attention has already shifted towards planning their next model, which is expected to arrive in 2027 or 2028.

In an interview with Top Gear magazine, John Hennessey hinted that their upcoming vehicle may draw inspiration from the legendary Porsche Carrera GT. While he didn’t provide specific details, the magazine suggests that it could be an analog open-top car, featuring a naturally aspirated engine paired with a manual gearbox. To refresh your memory, the Carrera GT, which preceded the 918 Spyder, was a V10 targa with a manual transmission and no turbocharging.
