Fiat Ducato Facelift Spy Photos Hint at Upgrades for Ram ProMaster

In 2006, Fiat introduced the third generation Ducato as a completely redesigned model available in different lengths and wheelbases. In 2014, the Ducato was refreshed and entered the US market with the Ram ProMaster badge. Despite its age, Fiat has no plans to retire the 17-year-old van in Europe, which suggests that there may be further upgrades in store for the Ram ProMaster in North America. Spy photos have emerged showing a Ducato prototype with a facelifted front fascia.

While the exterior design may not be the most crucial factor for van buyers, the Ducato seen in the photos below appears to feature a new bumper and grille. The headlights appear unchanged, but there is camouflage on the bonnet and side panels, indicating possible tweaks to those areas. The only visible disguise at the rear is some black tape covering the vehicle’s make and model.
