This week was all about a couple of new launches and debuts, along with variant updates of some cars

In the past week, Hyundai introduced new Adventure editions of two SUVs, while Mercedes-Benz launched a new-gen SUV in India. We also received important updates on Tata’s upcoming launches, and there were some variant changes for a Mahindra SUV and a Citroen SUV.

New Adventure Editions From Hyundai

Hyundai has introduced Adventure editions of its two SUVs, the Creta and Alcazar. These special editions come with cosmetic changes both inside and out, along with a new feature from the Exter well. Toyota Rumion Debuted In India

The Rumion is a Toyota MPV that is based on the Maruti Ertiga and has already been on sale in a few markets outside India. Now, Toyota has introduced the Rumion in India and has revealed all its features and specifications. The prices of the Rumion are expected to be announced soon.

Tata Punch Now Gets Sunroof Across Petrol Variants

Tata has extended the sunroof feature to the petrol variants of the Tata Punch micro SUV. The Punch CNG was the first model in the Tata portfolio to come with a sunroof, and now the petrol variants also have this feature.

Citroen C5 Aircross Gets More Affordable

Citroen has reintroduced the entry-level ‘Feel’ variant of the C5 Aircross, making the SUV more affordable. However, the prices of the top-spec ‘Shine’ variant of the C5 Aircross have been increased.

Mahindra XUV300 Variants Rejigged

Mahindra has made changes to the variant lineup of its subcompact SUV, the XUV300. A new base-spec W2 variant has been introduced, and the TurboSport version is now available from the W4 variant onwards, making it more affordable. The electric version of the XUV300, the XUV400, has also been updated with the addition of five new safety features.

New-gen Mercedes-Benz GLC Launched In India

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC has been launched in India with a price increase of up to Rs 11 lakh compared to its predecessor. The new SUV now has a sleeker look and offers mild-hybrid powertrain options. You can also check out our price comparison of the new GLC with its rivals.

Spy Shots This Week

This week’s spy shots include one SUV from Kia and two from Tata. The Kia Sonet facelift was spotted for the first time in India, and we also caught the Tata Safari and Tata Nexon facelifts on test ahead of their expected launch later this year.
