Toyota Provides Support for Hurricane Idalia Relief Efforts

Contributions promote recovery and customer payment relief offers assist those in need

PLANO, Texas (Sept. 1, 2023) – Toyota Motor North America and Toyota Financial Services have announced their efforts to aid those who have been impacted by Hurricane Idalia. Toyota makes annual contributions to The American Red Cross and SBP, and these funds are used to support recovery efforts in various disaster-stricken areas across the nation. To provide further assistance to communities affected by Hurricane Idalia, Toyota will match contributions made by its U.S.-based employees to support The American Red Cross, SBP, and other eligible nonprofits.

In addition, Toyota Financial Services has announced payment relief options for its customers affected by Hurricane Idalia. This outreach is available to all Toyota Financial Services (TFS) or Lexus Financial Services (LFS) customers residing in the designated disaster areas.

Customers who lease or finance a vehicle and are living in the affected area may qualify for various payment relief options, which include:

  • extensions and deferred lease payments;
  • redirecting billing statements; and
  • arranging phone or online payments.
