This particular BMW 5 Series Touring has a unique appearance. The front section of the car stands out in traffic due to its bright colors, while the rear half is camouflaged to make the long-roof 5 Series less conspicuous. BMW has not yet revealed the more practical version of the latest 5 Series Sedan, but they are already testing a modified version for police use.

The new 5 Series Touring, internally known as “G61,” is expected to be very similar to the “G60” Sedan until the B-pillars. As a result, the front half of the vehicle is left uncovered in the testing phase. The extended roof and larger windows are concealed by the black and white camouflage of this test car. There are concerns that the rear glass may no longer open independently of the tailgate, as there is no button at the base of the rear wiper. This has been a common feature of BMW Touring models for many years, and its potential removal may be attributed to cost-cutting efforts.
