EICMA 2023 has been filled with innovations from motorcycle manufacturers around the world, and Kymco took the spotlight at the event with the unveiling of a wide selection of models, one of which is the CV-L6.

The CV-L6 is Kymco’s entry in the adventure scooter segment, which has recently seen significant growth. It is essentially a maxi-scooter with rugged styling and off-road capability, crafting a unique combination of adventure bike elements with the accessibility of a maxi-scooter. The scooter features aggressive bodywork, a tall windscreen, and integrated luggage, all inspired by adventure bikes.

Kymco touts the CV-L6 as suitable for both city commuting and long-distance adventure, equipped with technology focused on comfort, safety, and performance. It is powered by a 550cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected parallel-twin engine producing 51 horsepower, similar to the one used in the AK 550 maxi-scooter.

On the performance front, the CV-L6 is equipped with alloy wheels and dual-purpose tires, inverted front forks with long travel, and an offset rear monoshock. Braking is ensured by dual Brembo radially mounted discs in the front and a single disc at the back, providing confidence in stopping power.

Kymco has designed the CV-L6 around a new lightweight frame that offers a lower seat height for accessibility to a wide range of riders. Additionally, the scooter is complemented by built-in luggage accessories from Givi, including side panniers and a top case, allowing riders to customize their luggage capacity for different riding scenarios.
