New Isuzu D-Max Ready To Compete Against Hilux, Navara, And Other Trucks

The Isuzu D-Max is a popular mid-size truck that goes head-to-head with the Toyota Hilux, Nissan Navara, and similar pickups in various regions around the world, including Asia, Europe, Africa, South America, and Oceania. Recently, Isuzu unveiled an updated version of the D-Max in Thailand, where it will go on sale starting October 12. One of the highlights of the updated D-Max is the introduction of a range-topping V-Cross 4×4 model.

In terms of design, the updated D-Max boasts a power bulge in the hood and a revised grille positioned higher than before. Additionally, the lower fascia now incorporates air curtains in the corners, while the daytime running lights are situated on the upper part of the headlamps. Moving to the rear, the D-Max sports new taillights with a distinctive L-shaped styling featuring three levels. Moreover, the upper section of the tailgate now houses a larger spoiler.

2024 Subaru WRX Rally Car Unveiled for Travis Pastrana and Team

Subaru may no longer be involved in the World Rally Championship, but the company is still active in regional events such as the American Rally Association Championship. In preparation for the 2024 season, Subaru Motorsports USA is introducing a competition-ready WRX, which will have its public debut at the Ojibwe Forests Rally on August 25 and 26.

The rally-spec WRX, built by Vermont SportsCar, has been specifically designed for Subaru’s participation in the American Rally Association Championship’s Open 4WD class. Under the hood, it features a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine with a 33-millimeter restrictor plate and a 22-psi boost limit. This powertrain produces 320 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. The output is transferred to the all-wheel-drive system through a SADEV six-speed sequential transmission.

Winnebago Solis Pocket Small RV Gets Upgrades

Winnebago has introduced some exciting updates to its Solis Pocket 36B, a compact RV based on the Ram ProMaster commercial van. The new floorplan now includes a dinette and a wet bath, providing more convenience for travelers. Additionally, Winnebago has partnered with EcoFlow to offer an optional Power Kit Pro, which includes a five-in-one power management controller, a 5.0-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery, and a touchscreen controller.

The updated dinette offers various layout options. In travel mode, the cushions can be tipped forward to accommodate two additional passengers with seatbelts. The dinette can also be converted into a bed or used as a couch, providing flexibility for different needs.
