Skoda Celebrates Three Million SUV Milestone, New Kodiaq Coming Soon

Skoda is excited to announce that they have produced their three-millionth SUV. The special vehicle is a black Kodiaq in the Sportline trim, manufactured at the Kvasiny factory in the Czech Republic. Skoda’s SUV journey began in 2009 with the introduction of the quirky Yeti. In 2016, the Kodiaq joined the lineup, followed by the compact Karoq in 2017 and the subcompact Kamiq in 2019.

In 2020, Skoda expanded its SUV lineup with the fully electric Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe. While these models are available globally, Skoda has also introduced a few regional products like the Kamiq GT and Kodiaq GT, specifically designed for the Chinese market. Additionally, Skoda has developed the Kushaq crossover for the Indian market, with plans to send CKD kits to Vietnam for assembly starting in the second half of 2024.
