The new 208 was Europe’s best-selling car last year and is expected to continue to be popular with buyers due to its new design, powertrain options, and advanced technologies in all-electric, hybrid, and petrol versions.

Over a million 208 models have been sold since its launch in 2019. The 208 has been the top-selling car in Europe in both 2021 and 2022, and the E-208 has become the best-selling electric car in the B-segment in Europe. The new 208 and E-208 are available in four trims: Active, Allure, GT, and E-Style (for a limited time).

Allure: An eye-catching design

The new 208 and E-208 feature a distinctive and feline look with the new PEUGEOT front-end light signature. The Allure and GT versions also have an evolving body-colored pattern that blends into the bumper, giving the car a modern design. The rear of the new 208 has a new elegant rear light signature with three horizontal LED red claws.

Emotion: Advanced PEUGEOT i-Cockpit®

The new PEUGEOT 208 and E-208 have the latest-generation PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® with enhanced connectivity and ergonomics. The Allure and GT versions come with the PEUGEOT i-Connect infotainment system, which can be upgraded to i-Connect Advanced with TomTom® Live navigation and natural voice recognition. The new 208 models also feature a 10-inch central touchscreen (7-inch for E-Style versions) and a new digital instrument panel with new graphics.

Excellence: the next level of electrification

The new PEUGEOT 208 offers a range of powertrain options, including all-electric, hybrid, and petrol variants.

The new E-208 is available with a 136hp or 156hp electric motor coupled with a 50 kWh or 51kWh battery, capable of up to 225 and 248 miles respectively. Charging options include a standard 7kW single-phase onboard charger and an optional three-phase 11kW onboard charger. Rapid charging from 20% to 80% takes less than 30 minutes with a 100kW DC charger or 4 hours and 40 minutes with a 7.4kW AC charger.

The new 208 also offers two new self-charging hybrid powertrains with 100hp and 136hp, featuring a battery that recharges while driving and offering extra torque at low revs and up to 15% lower fuel consumption. The new hybrid models can operate more than 50% of the time in zero-emission all-electric mode.

The new 208 is also available with PureTech petrol engines, with options for a PureTech 75 with a five-speed manual gearbox or a PureTech 100 with a six-speed manual gearbox.

The new 208 and E-208 can be ordered through PEUGEOT Retailers or via PEUGEOT’s Buy Online platform, which allows customers to configure, finance, and order their vehicles from home. The prices for the 208 start from £20,400 OTR MRRP, and the new E-208 51kWh 156hp starts from £32,400 OTR MRRP.
