ChatGPT, a generative AI model, will be available on all DS Automobiles models with DS Iris System, allowing users to access information and perform various tasks while keeping their focus on the road. The technology will be available across the entire DS model range equipped with DS IRIS SYSTEM.

ChatGPT uses language models to understand and generate natural and fluid interactions. With extensive data training, ChatGPT can provide accurate and relevant answers to a wide variety of questions.

The integration of ChatGPT with DS IRIS SYSTEM enables users to enjoy a revolutionary conversational experience, gaining access to useful information and the ability to complete tasks. In a DS vehicle, the chatbot becomes a digital assistant dedicated to enhancing the travel experience.

For instance, drivers can ask for recommendations on cultural or artistic places to visit in Bordeaux, list notable works at the Louvre Museum, create quizzes, or even invent a children’s story during a trip. All of these conversations are made possible with the support of ChatGPT’s artificial intelligence and IRIS speech recognition in DS Automobiles equipped with DS IRIS SYSTEM.

Drivers can activate DS IRIS SYSTEM by saying “OK IRIS” or using the dedicated button on the steering wheel. Voice interaction with the chatbot can then begin without diverting attention from the road.

The integration of “SoundHound AI powered by ChatGPT API” with DS IRIS SYSTEM is available at no extra cost during a six-month pilot phase for the first 20,000 requests on DS 3, DS 4, DS 7, and DS 9. The feature can be activated remotely and is accessible in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy in their respective languages.
