Rumors suggest that a Nightster version of the X440 may be next in line. The name “Nightster 440” has been patented by Hero MotoCorp, not by Harley-Davidson, indicating a possible collaboration. The patent was filed on July 17, 2023, generating excitement among enthusiasts.

The Nightster name is familiar to those acquainted with Harley-Davidson’s current lineup. It is the newest addition to the Sport series, positioned below the Sportster models. The Nightster is a more approachable and lightweight model, featuring a 975cc, liquid-cooled V-twin engine. This bike offers a smoother and more accessible riding experience. As for the Nightster 440, it remains a topic of speculation, as the X440 is already accessible in its current form.

According to Indian publication AutoCar India, the upcoming Nightster is speculated to be a sportier version of the X440. This sentiment is echoed by several other publications in the Asian market. It is anticipated that the Nightster 440 may have lower handlebars, providing a more aggressive riding position. Additionally, the bike may see frame and suspension tweaks to enhance its performance on twisty roads.
