The dimensions of both the Suburban and the Tahoe remain quite large, as expected. The main exterior change is in the front end, especially the lighting. The daytime running lights have been expanded, featuring a more distinctive “dual C” design, with the main headlamps shifted slightly downwards.
At the back, the taillamp clusters are more striking and cohesive. The Premier and High Country trims feature welcome and walk-away lighting animations, as well as animated swipe patterns for the turn signals.

For example, the Z71 will have bright red (and functional) tow hooks in the lower fascia. For the first time, there will be a factory option for massive 24-inch wheels, while an AutoSense Power Liftgate will automatically open the trunk when the key fob is sensed behind the SUV.
