The final round of the AMA West Hard Enduro Series took place at the Donner Hard Enduro in Norden, California. This event, hosted by Brian Garrahan at the Donner Ski Resort, was a part of the Donner Challenge. The Donner Challenge included a motoclimb race and District 36 Hare Scramble in addition to the hard enduro.
