With the Tesla Cybertruck now out, we can finally see how it performs in real life. We’ve seen the angular vehicle winning a drag race against a Porsche 911 while towing another 911. Now, it’s up against a rival – the GMC Hummer EV. The event took place in Austin, Texas at Tesla’s Gigafactory.

Carwow’s Mat Watson was invited by Tesla to test the pickup. He also brought along a Hummer for an acceleration contest. Both were the top-spec versions with three electric motors. The vehicles are among the heaviest you can buy, with the former weighing 6,843 pounds (3,104 kilograms) and the latter at a whopping 9,061 lbs (4,110 kg).
